I am very happy with the responsiveness of the AmFam team with my recent claim. Disappointed that my car ended up being a total loss, but was more than pleased at the final dollar amount which was more than I could have sold it for or received as a trade in. Renters insurance for my mom’s apartment, adjustments for our home ownership’s policy and friendly people to help you get it done. Claims (car accident) and pitted windshields are handled thoroughly and professionally. We had concerns about a collision repair service who did very poor work on our car. Tim Engle’s office sorted everything out immediately. We were sent to another collision service whose service was excellent. American Family dropped the agency whose service was poor.

A storm recently did significant damage to my home requiring water mitigation services, roof repair, and a complete bedroom remodel.
It is quite shocking to see such damage in the light of day. Tim called me immediately to walk me through options and get the ball rolling on repairs. He even made many contacts on my behalf.
Payments were received promptly and I am back to "normal". I know others who had damage from the same storm and they are still arguing with insurance to get damage repaired.
I had no such issues and share my story with all.

Tim Engle and his office staff are simply amazing! We were considering an automobile purchase Monday, and, even though they were in the midst of filing insurance claims from the huge windstorm the previous week, they were able to give us a quote within 5 minutes! Two days later, our son purchased his first car, and Tim's crew swung into action again. We were in and out in no time with the coverage he needed, and smiles all around. The last storm that came through had some hail. I happen to have posted a pic of a big hail stone that night. Next morning Tim himself called to make sure if I needed an adjuster to come out they would be right out. That type of personal service from the owner of the agency was amazing!

We are so glad that we had Tim and the rest of the American Family team in our corner. Our claimed check was sent to us promptly but it was deposited into our local bank without our mortgage company's endorsement, who insisted the "original check" should be deposited to its bank and refused to take any action. It took at least six calls and lasted more than a month without resolution! Every calls invovled robotic answering operations leading to faceless reps (different person every time) who did not care about their customers! Tim stepped in and involved our local bank VP. Problem solved! That is why we cherish local business with high quality customer services. Tim is a good example of it!

Four years ago, I hit a deer on my way to work. The office wasn’t opened yet but as soon as they opened, they called to ensure I was ok. Before noon they had all of the paperwork to take my truck to the body shop for repair. They also had the rental car lined up while it was being repaired. I paid the body sop my deductible and the rest was handled between the body shop and them. Thanks for making the repair as hassle free as possible. Update:

Outside of the "American Family Company" decisions that they have made to make my insurance rates go up, Tim Engle and all those that are working with him are great.
