Somerset Ridge Vineyard & Winery

Somerset is like a countryside oasis. What a beautiful place to spend an afternoon, drinking wine, hanging with friends, enjoying live music and a great food truck. Carolyn met us with open arms and made use feel welcome. Definitely worth the drive for a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Amazing place for a glass of Kansas wine and some live music on the weekends. If you’re a local would recommend the wine club.

Somerset Ridge Vineyard is an amazing winery. Absolutely beautiful, wine is great and so are the wonderful treats from local businesses. My friend and I (with help from the amazing people who work there) made our selves a great chutercurie board that went amazing with the wines. Will definitely be back!

This was my first visit to Somerset Ridge. The entire experience was amazing, from the friendly staff and amazing live music to the delicious meat and cheese tray. Amazing place to relax with your loved ones and.pets.

Beautiful place, excellent wine, friendly staff, and amazing food. The tasting was informative and included the most of variety of all the tours we did. We tried the empanadas, which were about the best I've had. Usually pretty heavy good, these were lite, and the sauces complimented them greatly. We will be back!

Adam was amazing. He poured each tasting for my husband and I and took care to provide choices to our taste. He explained the grape and how each was made, as well as each wine's flavor profile.
Knowledgeable and professional, his guidance helped us explore and choose the right wine for us.

Nothing not to love! We had a perfect.day. The staff was thoughtful and carefully observed covid-19 precautions. The live music was wonderful. The wine was great. The food truck was fabulous. Will definitely plan to come again!

Amazing & very intimate experience. Stopped by the area unexpectedly and was met with some of the nicest service, delicious BBQ, tasty wine, and adorable dogs. Live music on Saturday made the stop even better. Definitely will have to return.

Fun atmosphere and the only place in town to get fabulous food from Spain. The staff is friendly, the winery is beautiful, and the music fantastic. Not your typical Kansas destination. Go see for yourself I recommend this place to all my friends. Great getaway

This is the perfect spot to visit if you're a wine novice or a self-proclaimed sommelier.

My girlfriend and I are starting to explore the vast wine world, and after a mediocre experience at another local winery we wanted to try again.

We walked into Somerset Ridge and felt immediately at home. The staff greeted and talked with us well above and beyond the standard "Hi, how can we help you?" and made us feel comfortable despite knowing next to nothing about wine.They invited us in as if we were family.

We went to the bar and happily agreed to the suggested wine tasting. We each got samples of a range of different wines (as well as souvenir glasses) and explanations behind each wine and the winery in general. They also let us know about their wine club and its perks.

We purchased a bottle of our favorite taster and sat in the indoor seating area because winter. The staff, and Georgie the dog, checked in on us to make sure everything was ok, and we had a great time talking and looking out at the snowy vineyard.

When we were ready to head out we got our bottle re-corked, bought a couple more bottles of our favorites we tasted, and walked around the wintery vineyard. Even in the dead of winter the property is beautiful and there is plenty to see.

I honestly can't wait to go back in the spring, sit outside with friends, and enjoy some good wine, live music, and whatever food truck is there that day. Everything we tried was delicious and I'm eager to try more of what they have. If you're anywhere in or near the Kansas City area, wine fan or not so much, you owe it to yourself to make the trip and check Somerset Ridge out.

We had an extenuating circumstance and the management was extremely accommodating and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our experience amazing and their wines were absolutely incredible. I did not find a wine I didn’t like. Highly, highly recommend.

Me and my husband went on Sunday afternoon after we visited the apple cider store. Next thing I kenw I was in Miami county jail. I have no charges and was released after 48 hours. But just coming back as a living evidence of how good their wine is. it is this good. drink with care.

We had so much fun here in November. Everyone was extremely nice and took their time explaining each wine. The FlyBoy red wine is one of our all-time favorite wines! Highly recommend this winery- we can’t wait to go back!
