Nighthawk Vineyard & Winery

Visiting Nighthawk in person is going to be the best part of your day. Having never been, I was impressed from the moment I turned down the drive. You can tell there's a lot of love that goes into every aspect of Nighthawk from the grounds to the impressively knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere is laid-back and the whole experience feels like you're hanging out with friends. It's a perfect execution of upscale & warm. The sangria was a huge hit as we all enjoyed the wood fireplace in the wine room. In summary, Nighthawk is why being a grown up is awesome, even if you don't feel like one - you're in good company.

Classy upscale winery, with a nice country flair. Enjoyed the musician playing the harp! Nice wines and charcuterie board! Landscaping and plantings were very nice too. This was our first winery experience in Kansas, and it was wonderful! Recommend!

Very friendly and beautiful winery! It’s quite relaxing sitting on the patio, looking out at the vines and surrounding countryside. Wines are diverse, from sweet to dry, blends of MO grapes. Staff is absolutely excellent! Also nearby other wineries so if you have it in you, you can visit others closeby, or stay here the entire time. Seasonally have wood-fired pizza! Strongly recommend!

My husband and I stumbled on this place totally by accident, but we are so thankful we did! The vineyard is adorable, the wine is great, and the atmosphere was perfect! Sit at a cute table in the grass, covered by trees, surrounded by beautiful plants, with a harpist playing! WOW- so peaceful. Then walk on over to Gigi's cafe for some awesome pizza while you sip your wine and relax. Cannot wait to go back! Also- totally stealing the cutest way to keep your wine chilled on a hot summer day-

A serene setting that rejuvenates your soul…The owners, Don and Cathy, Brelann, and Gail are genuinely kind and make you feel like family. We always enjoy our special wine, but they are continuously developing more delightful tastes. We give them an A+.

Wow! What a great venue, beautiful grounds and establishment. Gale served us for our tasting and she was knowledgeable and we could tell she was invested in the owners product and desire to provide her customers great wines, just was awesome! They had a wide array of wine from dry to sweet and the place and experience was just so lovely. Definitely worth a stop!

NIghthawk is a gem in the plains of Kansas . Peaceful, relaxing , beautiful not to mention exceptionally tasty wine! Don and Cathy and staff knock it out of the park when it comes to warmth and hospitality .

Stopped by because we were close and was by far the best winery I’ve been to. Has great wine and the wood fire pizza was so good and fresh. They use local produce which made the pizza soooo good. The setting is beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful evening at the winery with my wife. Owner and staff were very friendly as usual. The Farm Fusion food on the weekends is out of this world. Would highly recommend for great wine & food in the country.

Nighthawk Winery has a gorgeous setting with plenty of outdoor seating under tall shade trees. They offer several wine choices and you're guaranteed to find one you like. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. In the summertime they have often have live music and in the winter there's an indoor space with a fireplace. It's my favorite Kansas winery - no contest!

This winery is a really special place! My children always find something to occupy themselves (seriously right there, get your car keys, Mom and Dad!). There's plenty of shade to enjoy, increasing food options, and something for everyone to drink! If some of the bigger wineries feel a bit too corporate for you, you will love the relaxed vibe and wonderful people at Nighthawk! Big shout out to Don for being the biggest kid and sharing his excitement with our children!

Nighthawk is our favorite winery in this area. Everyone is so relaxed and friendly. The scenery and atmosphere is beautiful. Lots of nice shade and always a breeze. The wine is exceptional and at a cost you can afford.

Nighthawk is so relaxing and all of the folks and customers are friendly and laid back. The setting is gorgeous and I'm in love with the new wood fired pizza. I'll be back again and again and hopefully on my bike with a gang on our 10 mile ride from Osawatomie, Flint Hills Trail, Mile Zero.

I stumbled across this winery with a friend and it turned out to the happiest accident ever! Everyone was kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The place is beautiful and the wine is delicious. We walked out with a case of wine and a new place to add to our list of favorite wineries!

Very serene surroundings, lots to explore. Ideal setting for a wedding party. Better take a bus though. Back roads are gravel and the place might be very hard to find. Wear comfortable shoes. The sangria here is amazing!

I'm probably too biased to leave this review; but I'm going to anyway. This is absolutely my favorite place in Kansas. (Not my favorite winery...my favorite *place*.) For seven years, whenever I needed an escape, a refuge, a hug or--of course--a delicious glass of wine, this was MY place.
