Shawarma Corner

I used to eat here when it was called Jerusalem Bakery and Restaurant. I am hoping Shawarma Corner is just as good so long as Muhammad is the owner and greatest cook there is.

Well I am here to tell you it is very hard to improve on near perfection but the new name is Mediterranean Market and the food is even better and the original owner is back, and now it has a wonderful selection of hundreds of mediterranean dry goods, refrigerated drinks and with fresh meats coming soon! You need to see this to believe it.

The chicken shawarma my boyfriend and I enjoyed was tasty, flavorful, and unique but felt authentic to the shawarma ideal. We both truly loved this place and will work it into our regular rotation! As an added bonus, the prices truly cannot be beat for the quality and quantity. The sandwich was not big but it was packed with meat! The falafel was really yummy, although I enjoy both soft and crispy, the ones I had here were crispy fried which made them good for dipping. I would love to see them make a softer falafel too since I love both methods of preparation.

The menu is great! Wraps are tasty and pretty close to the real deal from the Middle East. My husband who is from Iraq enjoyed his meal and we will be back!

Friendly staff, very nice and tasy wraps beef/chicken shawarma. Veggie as well. Plenty of nice side dishes even for vegans, hummus falafal, etc. Excellent location.

Very good food, however I believe the name of the shop has changed simply to Mediterranean Market. Awesome Mediterranean grocer and cuisine.

Food was good, hot and fresh. There was a slight wait time, but that comes with food cooked to order. Overall good experience.

Great spot for Mediterranean food, spices, and hookahs!
Ordered the chicken gyro and loved it! There was super fresh pita bread available which was baked locally.

If you need spices for curry or marsala then you need to come by here. Plus they have cheeses which maybe harder to find around town, and soon will be adding fresh oven made pastries (baklava included!).

Pretty decent place. Food was tasty. Owner was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was great inside though empty because few people were inside eating. Awesome pick for a quick bite. Wish the wraps were served with sauce but honestly they were pretty good without any additional. Will be coming back soon!

Best shawarma in KC! Their fries are amazing too!
