This place is amazing!! The food was perfect. So many wonderful choices with authentic flavors and beautiful pairings. The chef is so talented. We had such a great time and will go back again. Steak, seafood, soup, appetizers; all are delicious. The creme brulee dessert was a nice light and creamy finish. Many thanks!

I'm not even sure where to start: The food was simply magnificent... I'm not an expert, you can tell the care and love that goes into each individual meal. I would describe each course as handcrafted perfection.
The wait staff was on point, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. The service was welcoming... I felt very much at home.
The restaurant itself was very clean and inviting. One wouldn't know from the outside, a small bistro in a strip mall, that one would have such a fantastic dining experience.
I'm not much of a writer, so my words aren't truly conveying how great my evening dining experience was...
Take the opportunity to put on some nice clothes, and bring someone you care about to this small, local, gem.
Enjoy the exquisite food... And enjoy one of the handcrafted desserts.
Honestly this experience rivaled a well-known local establishment over in Tampa (that one with the world renowned wine cellar).
Prop these folks up and visit, you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I went here for our wedding anniversary. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, the wine was excellent and the chocolate mousse was one of the best I’ve had. This place goes beyond great food…the service is top notch. Kieran and Michele (the owners) prepared an anniversary card for us, our table had rose pedals on it, and Kieran offered us a complimentary drink for the special occasion. They are truly remarkable hosts and I can’t recommend this place enough. Their attention to detail had us talking about the food and service all the way home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special night out.

The excellent ratings this restaurant gets are well deserved. Dinner here with some friends was as enjoyable as any I can recall. The food was delicious, the service team attentive and timely, the atmosphere charming, and the prices more than reasonable. A great value, and a certain return destination. Its unassuming storefront entrance belies the quality and comfort of the tasteful interior and the top-shelf dining experience.

The dishes are so unique and incredibly made! The menu has a great variety of things to choose from and they have a seasonal menu as well. We had so many items and each were amazing! The owners are so kind and the overall experience is perfect for a nice dinner out!

Great service and outstanding food. The owner himself greeted us and helped us during the evening. The food was right on point. Every dish was excellent. The two apps were good, but I think the baguette could have been a little larger. The stew, the pork, steak and fish were amazing. The biggest obstacle for the restaurant will be the location. Kind of out of the way and not in the best shopping center surroundings. I truly wish them success, maybe at a location closer to downtown Dunedin or Clearwater.

We accidentally discovered this place and we were very impressed with Sallie’s. From the excellent service to the kind owners, from the outstanding food with the excellent wine pairings to the nice atmosphere, all of this was excellent. We had the Beef Carbonnade and the Spare ribs, some croquettes and proper Pommes Frittes with Mayonnaise - everything was amazing. You owe it to yourself to try out this gem. We will be back. Can’t wait.

Absolutely wonderful dinner. This place is very unassuming from the outside, sharing a strip mall with Walmart. However, the inside is a charming little bistro. Service was on point and friendly. The Belgian beer selection is a nice touch. The food is definitely the star here. Appetizers are humongous and delectable. I had the carbonnade and my wife had the fish cream stew. Fantastic dishes. I am entirely pleased with our dinner here. A great date night.

Had the BEST meal at Sallies- mushroom toast, bœuf bourguignon, followed by dark chocolate mouse! All three were delicious. Great wine and beer list - photo attached. Best fine dining restaurant in the area. Presentation, service and flavors 5 stars!

We had a great wonderful experience at this very cool spot in Dunedin. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The menu had plenty to offer, including daily specials. The wine list is well-curated with things you won't find at a liquor store, and the Belgian beer list is excellent. The owners are really great, hard-working people. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

We had a delicious dinner at Sallie’s on Saturday night and we are already scheduling our next trip back. We tried a Bartlett pear capriccio with prosciutto and burrata which was among the best appetizers I’ve ever had. Also notable was the boeuf Bourguignon. Dessert is not to be skipped. Amazing service and ambiance as well. Don’t miss this place.

We had an excellent time. We were going just for dinner but we found a memorable culinary experience!! Don't let the location fool you, you'll find a refined little restaurant and VIP treatment from the moment you cross the door. Appetizers were large in size and extremely delicious! I've personally never had escargot so tender and flavorful before. Great wine selection, and one of a kind collection of Belgian beers! Incredibly tasty entrees. I strongly recommend the pork tenderloin with Jager sauce (OMG!!) And please, save some room (if you can) for the desserts. I can't remember the name of the one with chocolate mousse, but I intended to have just a couple of spoons and I ended up eating it all 😅. Thank you Chef Michelle for putting so much love and art in your food! Thank you Kiran and Rafik for such warm and distinguished service!! We'll be back soon!!

Hands down best biscotti cheesecake! AMAZING! Food was high quality and attention to detail was supreme. Will be going back!

What a delight to have this wonderful Belgium restaurant in Dunedin! The food is expertly prepared and delicious! Don’t miss the cheese croquettes and the chocolate mousse.

Truly an amazing evening at this authentic, family oriented restaurant. They provided such a personal touch. We were walk-ins and didn’t realize they preferred reservations. Despite knowing this, the owners were kind to give us a table and let us experience the culinary excellence of what the Chef had to offer. We can’t wait to return!

I had the pleasure of eating at this incredible Belgian comfort food restaurant in Dunedin, Florida. The chef, Michelle, makes truly delicious food. Her husband Kieran runs the front end to perfection. The subtle atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting, relaxing and, quite frankly, perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough. In addition to the fantastic place they have created, the two of them are wonderful people. Don't be in a hurry here. This is a European dining experience. You're expected to stay for as long as you like, and you have to request the check, assuming you're crazy enough to leave. All of this in a strip mall 5 or 6 doors down from a Neighborhood WalMart. Unbelievable!

Visited Sallie's Cafe & Catering, a Belgian cuisine, for the first time last night. We were greated warmly by the owner and host, Kieran, husband of the talented Chef Michele.

Recent arrivals from Belgium, their unique cuisine is located at Coastal Plaza, in the same location where La Trattoria restaurant was for decades. Now totally refurbished with a fresh continental flair. And cozy, comfortable bar area.

Their menu consists of an assortment of unique chicken, beef, fish, and pork dishes. Mine was a salmon dish as shown in the photo. Gorgeously presented and even better tasting. Truly the best salmon I've had in years with a delightful searing on top, light and fluffy on the inside. It comes with a broccoli and potato puree, three scrumptious potato croquettes, plus a garnish of greens and tiny cooked tomatoes.

The service by Kieran was prompt and pleasant. Truly a consumate host who wants his clientele to not only return but spread the word. After dinner Michele came out to introduce herself and thank us for joining them for dinner.

I wish them much success and many years of happiness in their new restaurant. And, yes, I will be back as a frequent guest. Sallie's is a must visit for those seeking a pleasant change of pace from the typical restaurant fare.
