I haven’t even brought my car in yet and the appointment is still a few weeks out, but after reading through every single review and speaking briefly with the owners, they were inviting, understanding and accommodating for my situation. A company such as this that values their time and where respect is earned is the company I wish to entrust with my vehicle. I have zero doubt that I will be thrilled with the results. I can tell by the 5 star reviews that this is an establishment that makes automotive dreams come true, and I can also tell by the unfortunate negative reviews that stupid people are even treated with fairness, despite their inability to operate with sound logic and reasoning. Man, I am beyond pumped to have someone local with legendary reputation helping me and simply cannot wait for them to complete the work necessary for me to begin enjoying the car. Already, they have a customer for as long as I am the caretaker of this car! Had headers and intake installed on my challenger plus a tune and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They kept me updated and got it done pretty quick. Definitely recommend going to this shop, I will be going back in the future. I can tell they really care about the work they do. They will get you just what you need.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing top-notch service at Modified by KC, and I cannot express how impressed I am with their work. After having a major overhaul on my car earlier this year from a different shop, I was left feeling unsatisfied. The car just didn't feel "dialed in," and I was constantly dealing with problems, requiring repeated visits to the tuner for adjustments. That's when I received a recommendation from the owner of a reputable transmission shop who pointed me in the direction of Ryan at Modified by KC.

From the moment I walked into their shop, Ryan didn't disappoint. What sets MKC apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction and maintaining a great reputation for quality. Ryan took the time to not only make suggestions but also genuinely listened to what I wanted and needed for my car. Communication was exceptional - it was the best I've ever experienced with any auto shop. Ryan consistently called me to provide updates on the progress of the work and offered valuable recommendations that not only improved the performance but also saved me both time and money (Have YOU ever had an auto shop call you to save you time and money?...) I never felt like I was one of hundreds of customers. Never felt rushed off the phone. Felt really confident the whole time that my car was an actual priority.

The results of their work were nothing short of astonishing. My car now feels like a brand new machine, and I can genuinely tell that time and expertise were invested in fine-tuning every detail of the car. The most remarkable part is that I gained an additional 90 horsepower with the adjusted tune alone, without any new modifications! Let me say that again. I picked up NINETY ADDITIONAL HORSEPOWER WITHOUT ANY EXTRA MODS.

To put the cherry on top of this incredible experience, Ryan went the extra mile by calling me a few days after I picked up my car just to check how everything was running. This truly speaks volumes about the priorities of Ryan and his team.

Had a ban run in with a local shop where I live. Then spent TIME searching for another place to be able to work with what that previous shop had done to my STI without completely overhauling what was just done. These guys were great and completed things very promptly. Very adaptive and also communication post pickup was amazing. Still helped me with any questions that arose from the build and work. Continuing to work with them on another project now as well. Great people, great knowledge, great service. I will be travelling out of state to work with these guys. Definitely worth.

Modified by KC was referred by another tuner of mine that wasn't local. Did not disappoint, the service was great and Ryan dialed in my vehicle with accuracy. The maps that he gave me were on point for my 08 g37s coupe. Would of never thought he can squeeze that much hp out of my car thank you Modified by KC 🔥🔥🔥

The team at Modified has been easy to work with. Had a serious breakdown and had to trailer my Durango to them. I had to come up with some money to get it fixed. They allowed it to stay there and with in a couple of days, had the first invoice paid for the parts. I'm hoping that the next couple of days, I get a call saying it's done. I've been anxious and trying not to bother them. LOL. I will definitely be back for more work to be done on it in the future.

Amazing experience! I wanted e85 and FMIC installed on my 2020 WRX, as well as other modifications they deemed necessary. They recommended a fuel pump and turbo inlet, and rightfully so. Very knowledgeable, very informative and helpful. I can't praise them enough. It's been over a month and I can't thank you enough. My car runs better than ever, even after my first pro dyno tune. Thank you for doing such a great job!

Ryan is one of the sweetest and up front guy with upmost integrity. He wants the best for you and your car, not here to take your money. Top rated shop, service and expertise. I’ve had clutch, corsa exhaust, cams, new IAS forged engine and catch can. Extensive work and he does my oil changes and check ups to make sure everything is healthy and happy.

Mkc did a really great job with my car, went in to get my car tuned and they immediately messaged me back with news I wasn’t expecting. The car had a bent pushrod and car wasn’t running on all 8 cylinders, Mkc got it all fixed for me 🙏. After break in miles and tuned by Mkc car is now running perfect, couldn’t be happier thanks a lot for the help! Will be going back for future mods. Definitely recommend.

Ryan and Chad at MKC Performance have always been massively informed and knowledgeable when dealing with customers and friends alike. I've had the pleasure of not only watching but working with them since 2014 and have always had an experience that either increased my knowledge or left me with smiles for miles! I called in randomly one day that I had off to try and get an exhaust done. I spoke with Ryan and he told me that he should be able to fit me in. I dropped my Car off around 11 I believe, and they called me by 4 to tell me it was good. Everyone there was extremely friendly and Ryan was very honest and educational about all the products and services they offered. I am very impressed with the quality of my install and how my exhaust sounds. I will definitely be coming back to get more parts installed sooner than later. Bought an Sti from this company. Not only were they easy to deal with, they have been very communicative when needing more info or answering questions that we had. We had an issue with the speed sensor/harness, and they sent us a new pigtail immediately, at no cost to us. Also, had the vehicle tuned locally in Colorado, but have had nothing but issues with the tune. I contacted them and they worked with me on adjusting the original tune to make it right, again, at no cost to us. They could have easily charged us for any of the requests we had. So far the car has been great with no other issues. Extremely thankful for their help, especially when most other companies/shops would leave people hanging. Ryan and Chad were great to work with and would recommend them to anyone.

Just want to give a huge shout out to Modified by KC! As always Ryan and the team did not disappoint. Got my Ram tuned for her upgrades and she runs amazing! If you need a true tuner and want it done right MKC is the place to go!

Should have taken my WRX here years ago. Engine is much happier with their tune. Been running it daily for 4 months and have experienced zero DAM drop. Cobb OTS, Etune, and stock map would be pulling timing regularly. MKCs tune added a lot of consistent power.

Ryan was tremendous help! Called up here after I was having issues somewhere else. Had a slave cylinder, clutch, tie rod, and spark plugs done on my focus ST Dropped it off Wednesday and it was ready to go by Friday afternoon. Great service and even better work! Highly recommend for all your car needs

I took my 2020 WRX to Modified by KC to get a stage 2+ tune. I want to preface this by letting everyone know upfront that I'm NOT a mechanic and I don't know a whole lot about cars. I like to drive cars, not work on them. The team was very knowledgeable and helpful during the entire process. They went out of their way to explain what was going to be done, how much I would expect to pay, and how long it would take. I have 2 dash cams in my car, and can confirm that they take EXTRA care of your car in the shop, on the dyno, and on the road. My expectations were exceeded and I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and care the team took with my vehicle.

Getting parts took a few months, which I expected. No surprise there. Supply chain troubles and all that. So no complaints there.

The team at MKC installed everything, cleaned up the engine bay and surrounding areas, triple checked their work, and put my car on a dyno to give me actual numbers. I have my next modifications (with reliablity being at the top of my list of requirements) and a roundabout estimate on how much it will cost and what to expect. If you want to get your car modified, tuned, looked at, blessed, whatever, this is the de facto team to see in KC. I won't trust my car with anyone else at this point unless referred to by the MKC team.

I first heard about Modified by KC through some mutual friends while I was in Kansas in 2017. After meeting and discussing my plans with Ryan, I decided to go ahead and get some work completed through them on my 5.7 Charger. I was very pleased with his and his teams professionalism throughout and the timeliness of the work completed, especially during a busy time period. Upon receiving the vehicle back, I was very happy with the work, vehicle turnaround time, and customer service provided. The vehicle blew away my expectations, especially it’s drive-ability. 2 years and nearly 30k miles later (as is with many modified daily drivers), the vehicle had some slight (however minor) issues. I was able to reach out to them and almost immediately they assisted with identifying and ordering the parts I needed to get the vehicle up and running again. I do highly recommend this shop for those in the Kansas/Missouri region, and they are also very supportive of the troops.

So summer of '19 I had started a coilover install that gave me issues and I ran out of time to finish the install at home. I hit up a few places in town asking for a 24hr or as close to it turnaround that I'd gladly pay extra for. Nobody could even entertain the idea until I emailed Ryan. He gave a 24hr probability, but guaranteed a less than 48hr turnaround.
That was to finish the rear install, remove old stuff and install new fronts completely, set ride height and do full alignment (I think to my spec, might have just been basic spec though can't remember). All done with me dropping off and picking up within 36-40 hours. I don't even think he did charge me extra for the quick turnaround. All work was great, ride height not as low as I had wanted but that was probably me not being specific enough since my concern was getting the car back in time as I'm sure that was the same for them. Since I mentioned it I'll also say she's sat at that height for a year so I clearly don't have an actual issue with it.
I'm now looking to come back for more work, patiently waiting for return email since I realize it's race season start and with the delay we had this year I can only imagine how busy they are right now. Also I don't track this car anymore i can't expect a street car to come before a race car! C'mon people think before you review right now.
