Westport Coffee House

One of the best coffee houses in the city. The vibes are immaculate, and it always feels cozy. I've been going here for years, back when the Beaumont club was next door. Nothing beats getting a coffee after a show!

Their hours are shorter than years past, but they still have quality coffee and great service! If you're in the area, stop by for breakfast or lunch

Great Jazz playing, the Americano was excellent and warm cinnamon roll was the absolute “BOMB”.

You have to vist here! Local authentic coffee shop in Westport. Food, coffee, unique vibe, and cozy, all make me want to keep coming back. One of the few real coffee shops, located in the middle of the KC metro

I'm not even kidding when I say of all the coffee shops I've been to around KC, this place hands down has the best in the city. Go try it for yourself!

Had my car inspected across the street, too early in the morning, and we went across the street hoping for a breakfast. I was expecting some premade wrapped sandwiches and a handul of coffee flavors at best, and was just hoping they'd have something my celiac kid could eat. I got the best breakfast sandwich of my life here. Fresh, warm, slightly crisp on the edges, fresh fillings, excellent salsa. Daughter enjoyed a gluten-free muffin and some hand-mixed chocolate milk, friend had a very good breakfast croissant. The lady behind the counter was friendly and calm and it was just an excellent start to what turned out to be a veeeery long day. I'm craving one of those warm, delicious breakfast wraps right now!

Love this small coffee house at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue. Their coffee's and desserts were awesome.

It was my first time there, so I was a little slow ordering, but the staff was friendly and patient. It's a warm, quiet, urban atmosphere, very conducive for studying or conversing with a friend. The setting itself is not at all swanky, just relaxing. We spent almost four hours there just chatting!

Nice relaxed atmosphere. The coffee is decent, light, medium, and dark roasted.

Decent background music playing at a level where you could actually think and have a small conversation without being overwhelmed.

The staff was very cordial. 5 star ...

I always try to stop in before work, and am always greeted with a smile. Lindsey makes the perfect peanut butter, protein, espresso smoothie! I can't imagine starting my day any other way. 🙂

Great location, solid coffee and food. To quote my cousin who got the croissant sandwich, “not terrible”.

Order as always hot chai tea with almond milk & a double shot of espresso, bought out most of the awesome 1/2 price day old pastries that I never tire of, & even snagged up a very warm and gooey cappuccino muffin, also was able to get some of the best chocolate covered espresso beans that are always a bad habit of mine. I always come back for more.

Love the modern cozy vibe. The food and beverage selection is amazing and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

Cosy setting, good coffee and treats, and the best version of the best arcade game keep me coming back every time.

I love thier paninis and the chocolate mousse cake is to die for. The atmosphere is typically quiet. Also, they always remember to include a fork in my "to go" order. Little things matter.

The reduced hours (only open until 2pm) really sucks. I wish they could be open late.

I absolutely detest coffee, so when I'm invariably invited to meet for coffee, I always suggest WCH: they have a much better selection of teas and cool soft drinks than the average coffee house.

They also have an amazing selection of delicious cake and pastries which, sadly, as a diabetic, I can no longer enjoy. This doesn't stop me from leaving nose prints on the glass though...

The always have a friendly and helpful staff, and do fun and funky events in the theater space downstairs.

I also have it on good authority they pour a decent cup of java too, but I wouldn't know about that.

Awesome place to go to meet a friend or to get some work/studying done! Always warm in the winter and cold in the summer. Great atmosphere. Plus they serve slices of cake! The real deal breaker is they have a great music playlist :)

Their service was fast and friendly. The staff was knowledgeable and let me take my time deciding what i wanted to order. The house coffee was delicious and the breakfast english muffin was also very good. I will definitely be going back to try their other products. 10/10

Nice and cozy. Very friendly. One of the better coffee houses of town. Matches the free spirit of Westport very well. They brew their coffee with care. Sit down and have a cup of coffee, rather than "to go".
Try their strawberry cake, very nice, old fashioned, ...and I believe is with real strawberries...ask for a little whipped cream on the side if you want. Their quiches are good too!
