Burroughs Creek Park

Nice walkable path. It is nice for a short fresh walk in the summer.

I volunteered at this corner to help out with the Kansas Half Marathon. The park was in amazing shape. The trail was well maintained and perfect for the runners!

Great place for walking, biking and kids playing.

Great park and splash pad. Be warned there is limited shade covering. The playground is built more for older children and artistic but still fun.

This is one of the best parks in the city! It’s clean and well taken care of. There’s also a covered sitting area and bathrooms. And, the new splash park is a perfect addition . We love it and are thankful the city put one in!

If it's one thing that I really love about living in Lawrence, it's that not only is the place nicely walkable but that there really are an abundance of parks and locations for the kids to play. This one is fairly close to where we currently are, has a newly installed fountain play area, and is right off of the "Lawrence loop".

This is a beautiful, clean and friendly park. Social distancing is easy to maintain here.

I said it last year and I’ll say it again this year: the splash pad was the best idea for this spot.

It was very beautiful, but the droughts are harsh, and vegetation growing like a weed, the earth is all cracked up, Chicago been through a drought before, but not as bad as it is here.

Always our favorite park but we love the recent additions of the bathrooms and the picnic area and carved rocks.

Nice park with a growing number of play structures. Much of it done with volunteer labor. It's s nice little stop along the Lawrence Loop,

Love the carvings in the big rocks. The water splash park is a big hit!

Great place for the kids to play and the trail is excellent for bike riding or walking your pet.

Blah blah blah, it's got water-park and jungle gym park, bathrooms and parking, just enjoy the park.
