Such a cool shop with great selection of Birkenstocks. We drove from the east side of the KC metro to Lawrence with hopes of having my daughters birkenstock sandals repaired/refurbished. The staff was outstanding, going the extra mile when they learned the sandals were sentimental. Her sandals turned out fantastic and can live another life. We've since bought additional sandals from Footprints and they are the only place we'll ever buy Birkenstocks!

Very nice atmosphere inside it was clean and Zen.
The level of help offered for someone walking in knowing nothing about Birkenstocks was amazing.
They were very patient as I had a lot of questions and was unsure.
They took their time and I left with my first pair.
I would definitely recommend coming inside and figuring out the correct option rather than guessing online.
This is one of those things that it is better to see and feel in person.

Top customer service. This is 99% of my shoes are Birkenstock. Most comfortable for my feet. This store has a great selection and if they don't have it, they will order...they ordered mine today.

Great customer service and excellent communication. I been looking for a pair of gray London Birkenstocks for a long time. This was the only store that had them in stock , and they were on sale. This store is awesome.

Footprints has been my go-to Birkenstock store for more than thirty years. My first, and only, visit to this mecca in Lawrence came after driving 600 miles through a blizzard. The drive was a nail biter and the visit glorious. While I have yet to return to the store, I have purchased more Birks via mail from them. They do great mail order/Internet service. Once you know your size, you can live a thousand miles away and shop like a local.

More importantly, the Footprints team offers Birkenstock repairs. Mick is a craftsman; he's kept a couple of pairs of Birkenstock shoes of mine serviceable for decades. Just recently two pairs came back from the shop and are ready for more wear. Not like new, but serviceable and ready to comfort my feet as I go about my day.

The shoes in the pictures attached to this review are more than 20 years old. They have just returned from Footprints from another repair session. New life has been breathed into these shoes. You may think you're paying too much for Birks, but with a little love from Mick's hands, they may be the last shoes you need to buy.

Mick provides excellent, thorough customer service. He responded to my concerns immediately after a defective pair of Birkenstocks failed to live up to their consistent reputation, and offered me multiple options to make it right. He was quick to follow up with my many questions before deciding on replacements. I am glad I chose to purchase through this retailer, rather than directly from the company. I highly recommend Footprints.

I have had a pair of Birkenstocks for the last 9 years that were in need of restoration. I grew up in Kansas but now live in Alabama. There isn’t any authorized repair shops in Alabama so I needed to send them out. Footprints was easy to work with, affordable, and fast to do the work and ship my shoes back to me. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and the final product. Couldn’t recommend them enough based on my experience!

Bought my kid's Birkenstocks here. Best selection! A month later brought my 13 year old birks in for resole. They were ready in a week and looked amazing. Mick was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable. One look and he knew the name of my limited edition sandal that was only made one year. Bought another pair from their website. Ordered at 2pm, arrived the next day at 10. I live south of Kamas City, MO. I will not buy Birkenstocks anywhere else.

I bought a pair of supposedly Birkenstock dupes online and was sorely disappointed. My friend and I stopped in the Mass Street store in Lawrence this past weekend just to look and see what was available. With the expert advice of the sweet, very pregnant salesperson, I quickly settled on the Florida SF. (She was due in 7 days!) Her recommendation was right on and I am exceedingly satisfied with this purchase. This store has a great selection and an expert, very knowledgeable sales staff. I will be back! 😊

Footprints is seriously ahhhmaazzziinnngg! The customer service is top tier, chefs kiss, and overall just giving. I will never shop any where else for all my Birkenstock needs. Thank you all for being soooo great! Sincerely, another happy customer.

Our favorite shoe store as absolutely lots of BIRKS & a good selection of other great brands of shoes. Sales are worth driving from Overland Park too.

Amazing experience! I needed to have the footbed of my Birkenstock sandals replaced. Didn’t want to travel to Lawrence so I shipped them to the store for repair. I had a great conversation with one of the staff members over the phone and with his expertise decided it would be best to increase the shoe size during the repair. You can’t get service like that from Amazon! Lol The sandal repair was quick and they fit perfectly. Love supporting a small business and having the option to repair instead of buying new. I wish I could support this business more but the sandals will literally hold up in like new condition for years, hence me writing this review. Highly recommend, thank you Footprints!

I called from Kansas City with a question regarding repair of an older Birkenstock dress shoe. They looked into it & called me back later with good info about a shop in IL. Ultimately the shoe couldn't be fixed but they cared enough to seriously look into it for me. Excellent customer service.

Totally awesome products and service. Got an excellent pair of berks and have gotten the glued back up twice, going on 6 years with one pair of sandals. Pretty amazing. Mick and everyone else are helpful, patient, and experts on their products!

Excellent customer service and an awesome selection! I walked in 20 minutes prior to closing and really wanted to shop their Birkenstocks collection. Having worked retail in my teen years I avoid being the customer that walks in around closing time so as soon as I walked into the store I promised I'd be out by 6. The clerk was relaxed, told me to take my time and asked me what I was looking for. He pulled out any style I wanted, fit the Birkenstocks to my feet, and was able to find my size (I wear a women's 11, so I often have a hard time finding a good selection). His demeanor and willingness to help was so incredibly refreshing! I left purchasing my first pair of Birkenstocks, and will only be purchasing that brand from Footprints from now on.

Mick and the staff are very helpful. Mick is able to come up with out of the box solutions to fixing my shoes. He is also willing to order what you need uf he doesn't have it in stock. I buy all my Birkenstocks here.

The employee who helped me was patient, answered a ton of questions, and was very helpful. He listened to what I was looking for and met that need. He didn't try to pressure or upsell. It's a really cool shop, prices are no more than a big store like Cabela's, and the personable service was great.
