Pita'z Mediterranean and American Cuisine

Amazing food every time! Typically a 10-15 minute wait but it’s worth it. I would caution the owner arguing with staff about weighing out meat vs. not where customers can see the conflict. It’s a bit awkward.

I was super happy with this meal, it was more food than I was expecting and even included a container of hummus for my side. You can order ahead, which I would recommend. Each meal is made to order and they are well equipped for to go orders. Sturdy containers with snap on lids and pitas are rolled up securely. They have something for everyone on this menu, even if you are not planning to order Mediterranean food.

First off, the coke is mine. I used it for scale. They've got fountain drinks.

I got a gyro (took off tomatoes and onions). The meat wasn't dry and it had plenty of tzatziki.

8oz of tzatziki for 5 bucks. It came with a sizeable bag of pita chips, but you could choose veggies or regular pita too. It has shredded cucumber running through it, which I love and rarely find. I did add some dill and lemon, but that's my personal preference because I like it tangy and with dill.

The bowl is huge. Tons of meat, tzatziki, chonky feta, olives, cucumbers, and rice (it inudes onions and tomatoes too, but I took those off).

I got a couple orders of pita to eat with my bowl. Their pita is thin, which I like for scoopin'.

Onion rings were great. I got it with garlic sauce. It's not a little 1oz tub like most places use. This is 2 or 3 oz. Their garlic sauce is fire. I'll be ordering a tub of it instead of tzatziki next time.

I ordered a gyro entree and an order of tabouleh for take out while in town. I will say I wish the menu was a little easier to understand as I found the Platter would have been slightly more up my ally. Everything was exceptional especially portion sizes which allowed me to limit my carb intake which is hard when traveling as most places have severely knee capped their protein portions.

I've visited Pita'z multiple times. Always fresh delicious food. Fast friendly service. Next to Roasters Coffee shop, for delicious coffee.

Very delicious Lebanese food! Best in Iowa! No doubt! Their Shawarmas were on point! By far the best Baba Ganoush I’ve had in my life! Tahini sauce was to die for! Everything I had was super yummy! Great staff too!

I am so thankful for this very good Mediterranean quick pick-up restaurant. The quality is excellent, and everything is deliciously seasoned. I find it to be a very welcome oasis of dining variety in a vast landscape of hamburger joints. We enjoyed our chicken and gyro schwarma and go there frequently for it. Both to the CenterPoint Rd location and the New Bo Market location. They have delicious salads and small bite tuffed grape leaves. They have excellent Fatoush, but I save that for summer. No reason, really. I think of it as a summer treat. Pretty good falafel. Tabouleh, Hummus, and Babaganoush are all very good. There is a dine in area, it has minimal ambiance but is mostly clean. One nice bonus is that when you finish your meal you can walk right through the connecting door to a very good and relaxing coffee shop; "Roasters". The server at the counter was very nice and helpful and had a geniune smile, which I value in anyone highly.

Amazing! I recommend the chicken shawarma pita if you are not sure what to get. It is so flavorful and very filling! They're also very reasonably priced for the quality. Also, for someone who doesn't even like hummus, their hummus with pita chips are addictive!

The food here is insanely good! I eat here frequently for lunch and the service is always fast and friendly. Their Gyros have the best tasting meat, the Greek salad has one of the most delicious garlic oil dressings, and they have the F'ing best Fries I've ever tasted! You could come for the fries alone - I'm serious about that! If you're looking for something different from the regular fast food grind, check them out - You won't regret it!

I have eaten here many many times I love the Greek salad, if you like garlic in the dressing this is IT.The jalapeño poppers are good too. We have ordered food to go as well as I have dined in. The food is always excellent fresh and a good price. The service is always excellent. It is an order at the counter and sit style place it's always clean and friendly.

My husband hates your containers for the dips. It's our only complaint. They are hard to open.

Best pita's in cedar rapids. The hummus is out of this world. I've had almost everything on the menu and have not run across anything I do not like.

We had the chicken shawarma entree, it is so good and authentic. My kids loved the Euro burger. Clean place, self serve drinks and offers take out.

Great hope in the wall. Very unpretentious, amazing food! Mediterranean salad is amazing! The salad dressing is the best garlicy Greek dressing I've ever had! Amazing gyro meat!! Fries are great as well!!! Love this place!

We order from here at least every 2 weeks and always great food. One thing if you like a big fluffy Pita, this is not your place. They specialize in fried pita chips and they are excellent, but they make a thinner pita for that. The Gyro meat is perfect for me usually crispy pieces abound and Garlic dip/sauce is fantastic too.
