Gentle Dental PC

I'm happy with them. I called on Wednesday w/ horrible pain at broken wisdom and they made my appt for the following morning. After doing X-rays was told my options and I opted for removal (which he did 15 min later) like I should have many moons ago. I will leave bad reviews in a hot sec, but I haven't had that type of service here.....it's a busy place sure. I don't personally need all the pleasantries, just want to get it done. Doctor Mossi does that for me. Thanks

I have been to many dentists in my lifetime and this place is by far the best and most understanding I’ve been to. I had a dental emergency and they got me in right away and I was out within 2 hours! Very knowledgeable and friendly and most of all gentle. I will definitely be returning for my future dental needs.

Went in today needing major work done. Absolutely petrified of the dentist. I did wait as others have stated in their reviews but they were streamlining people and the gal at the front desk whose name I did not get was professional and efficient.

Danielle took the time to show me compassion and care without judgement. Her bed side manner is truly exceptional and she monitored me and truly went above and beyond. Probably the best dental hygienist ever.

The Dentist Dr. Masih was incredible. Despite the work done he took the time to ensure I remained comfortable and his bed side manner was kindly also.

On checkout Tori went above and beyond also.

I’m not sure why all the negative comments but I have had a great experience here..everyone is really nice and they seem to care more than any other dental office I have visited in Cedar Rapids been bringing my kids here for years an never complained at all. I had a tooth extracted today and it was all my choice in doing so... they never forced me to do anything. The dentist is great and kind to me. I highly recommend this place to anyone that don’t want to get ripped off from charges and who want good care. Thanks!!

I do not know what the negativity is about. I had a double root canal and 2 crowns put in spanning 3 separate visits, and didn’t have a single problem with any of the work, service or the staff. Heather is the nicest receptionist I’ve ever encountered at literally any business I have been to. Tamara my hygienist was extremely kind and caring of the concerns I shared with her and Dr. Masih was extremely professional and compassionate regarding the work he performed on me and building my care plan. I for one and happy I chose to ignore the negative reviews and go to Gentle Dental. This will be my dentist of choice for the foreseeable future, thanks guys!

Went in for a initial visit, was treated very well. They were prompt about scheduling my tooth extractions, as most dental offices had a waiting period of months.
On 04/04/2019 returned to Gentle Dental for my extraction procedure and was pleased with the care and service they provided. Dr. Masih was very nice, and was very good with answering questions. His dental assistant Bree was also awesomeness, super nice and even though I was nervous, did a great job of comforting me through the whole process.
I had 16 teeth pulled, and unlike any other experience before with other Dental offices, I felt nothing, no pain during the extire procedure. The most painful part was the needle for antistetic. Thats Never pain free lol
It is now 04/12/2019 and I'm still feeling pretty good, considering 16 teeth being pulled. Only moderate swelling and discomfort, but healing well.
Only have one bone shard/ tooth splinter, which isn't painful, just noticeable, and illI bring it to the Dentist attention at my next appointment.
Be verbal about what's bothering you, always ask questions if you are unsure about something and after you are all done, follow the post OP cares, and you'll be fine.

I highly recommend this business,
Gentle Dental has their horror stories, but Dentist offices are often the place most fear most.

I LOVE Dr. Moriarity!! He is the nicest, caring dentist I have ever been too. He always makes you feel comfortable and never makes you feel ashamed about anything. His dental assistances are all so wonderful too (Especially his wife)!! I would recommend him to everyone especially people who have ever had a bad experience with the dentist.

Great atmosphere. It was so hot so I went to find a coat rack but unfortunately there was only 1 hook on the entire rack, which was already being used by a hat. I wasn’t sure what to do after this but I patiently waited for a hook to become available. The receptionist was very kind and once the hook was available she immediately found me in the waiting area to inform me a spot has opened.

Due to recent changes in Medicaid, I have to travel from Iowa City to Cedar Rapids just to get care under my insurance. That said, they've been worth the trip. The inside (as posted pictures in these ratings show) is both clean and fun to be in. The actual facility has many younger students and workers, with few licenced dentists. However, this is common to most services provided to poorer people in Iowa. For what I'm used to receiving through Medicaid, this facility is top-notch for Medicaid patients, and an asset to the community.

I went to have a tooth pulled and the dental assistant and the Dr I got were wonderful. Bree was the assistants name. She was amazing I don't remember the Dr's name but he was great also.

I have had very positive experiences with the staff and have been quite pleased with the care my kids have gotten. They're orthodontic staff was very helpful and always available for questions and I could always get convenient appointments for my son's ortho appointments. My kids love all the hygienists they've had too!!😂

I've been going here for years. Very clean. Polite people. I could go anywhere, but choose Gentle Dental because of how calm and comfortable they make me feel. Never had any problems with their work. Dr.Vaddadi, Le Toya, and the rest of the assistants did an excellent job. He extracted six teeth in very bad shape in one go, hassle free. It’s been several months and I have had no issues. I have no complaints and am very thankful to him and their team. Would definitely recommend.

I can't speak to others' experiences here but I wanted to share mine. From the waiting room to the exam chair and back out, this place is nice and clean. My dental hygienist Mariah was nice and answered any questions I had, didn't seem rushed or anything, and tolerated my small talk I was making out of nervousness. Same goes for my dentist Dr. Vijay Vaddadi. Both were very educated about dentistry and took the time to explain to me what they were doing, very friendly and they did what needed to be done in terms of dentistry. Great place, have been going here for a few years and will keep going here!

Very caring staff and exceptionally competent doctors! This practice is a great contribution to the Cedar Rapids area. I have always used smaller practices but recently had problems with the Endodonists I was referred to. The Endodonists overmedicate before procedure then blame it on me; suggesting I was withdrawing from alcohol use. The billing person at the Endodonists then suggested she was doing me a favor by billing my insurance companies. Another Endodonists office nurse got testy with me just before the procedure and I actually walked out after pain medication had been started but before Doctor came in.

I love it! There service and staff is excellent! A very good dental place within your area I highly recommended it. Also a good quality for a low cost. Other people just write low rating because of wait time and not what they "expect" A take it or leave it deal. Other Dental places aren't that better, but if they are is it ridiculed high prices!

They were quick and listened to what i said, very thorough with the anesthesia amd explained the entire process. Very friendly staff, comfortable enviroment, and they had my 5 extractions pulled in less than 7 minutes. Super happy with the nurse and dr. Thanks a million

Gentle Dental really puts Gentle in their name. They did a fantastic job. The service was fantastic and the dentists were all very kind and qualified. My favorite dentist there is Dr. Vaddadi. He did a great job. Highly recommend this place!

I had a routine procedure, cleaning, X-Ray, deep-cleaning (hadn't been to the dentist in a while, so seemed justified enough). Everything went fine, no one tried to sell me anything I didn't need. I could not have been more happy with the experience.

I had such a bad experience with dentist in the past but Gentle Dental really kept me calm and did an absolute AMAZING job! Everyone including the doctor were just as nice and understanding as they could possibly be! I’m so grateful for them and enjoyed my visit! THANK YOU GENTLE DENTAL!!!!
