Wendy's

They were understaffed and swamped today. The employees were calm, collected, and putting out some quality food. This is a good Wendy's.

No issues here for us. Clean, fast, nice employees and food was good.

I came in on a business trip and was helped by Ronald at the register. He did an excellent job communicating with a hearing impaired customer in front of me, then served me with the most class and respect I've been served with at a fast food restaurant in YEARSSS. As he went to fill my lemonade, he assured the couple behind me that he would be right with them in the most professional way I have ever seen.

There was some kind of coffee spilled all across the top of the banister, and the line seems designed backwards to every other store I've been in, but Ronald outdid all of it. Made the whole experience. I'll be back to this Wendy's if I ever come back to Cedar Rapids, just to see if I can have another interaction with him.

I stopped going here for a while. There were staffing issues and my order was always wrong or food was cold. Tonight, I am impressed! Our order was right, food was HOT, and staff were friendly. I might just have to pop up over here a little more often!

The food was hot and good.

The real reason I'm writing this review is to express how impressed I am with the crew and managers. After I had already ordered an angry customer came in. The crew was able to gracefully pass the customer off to a manager who, it seemed, resolved the issues, all while the lunch rush continued the entire time.

Nice job everyone. Way to keep a happy face on.

Was greeted cheerfully and friendly, served in a timely fashion with fresh food. Would rather my food fresh then super fast and cold. Thank you

The new nacho chicken sandwich is so good (they have a spicy option also) alongside the new Caso fries. The staff was very friendly and they did not skip a beat, all food that was ordered was provided with no issues.

I hadn't been there in years and stopped the other day and the food was great! The staff were friendly. Very clean and nice atmosphere.

I am a driver and stopped for a customer and when I entered the restaurant it was very clean and I like that they dont complete the order until you arrive ( appears as if they dont) they want to make sure our shared customers get hot food every time and that's worth a little wait

I was at the Wendy's on 1st Ave. I had an experience with a cashier Gentleman who is a true Christian. I believe his name was Arthur. Attention: Wendy's Managers, do Not lose this employee. Excellent customer service, friendly smile and much more which I will keep to myself. I have been in Wendy's on 1st Avenue in the past, and I was not impressed. This Gentleman made me forget about the past. Awesome job! Awesome Employee!

I wouldn't normally rate fast food 5 stars but i was having a horribly long bad day and still needed to feed the kids. After I ordered the food they informed me that they were out of cheese. What would not be a problem any other day was the last thing i could take. They saw i was having a bad day and even though i told them it was fine and went to pay for it they took care of my meals for my kids. You don't see compassion like that very often anymore

Our order was absolutely perfect! Thanks to the very friendly young lady at the driver through, such a beautiful sole! We will visit again on our next trip to Cedar Rapids!

I didn't know they had breakfast so I swung in to check it out! I had a croissant combo & was pleasantly surprised! The potatoes were awesome, the sandwich was very good, too! The price seemed reasonable & the service has improved greatly at this location!

such a modern building. I was so impressed on how good it looked. There was even a fake fireplace on the wall. It was so clean and sparkly. Best Wendy's employees in the world! plus the food was amazing...

Manager recommended that I get two small frosties because of the special Wendy's is currently running, plus I get more. She actually didn't charge me for the drink I asked for (just didn't hear me) and she gave me a cup without any confrontation! I realized much later that I wasn't even charged for the soda. The food was great and so was the service! 100% better experience than the Wendy's on the East Side of Iowa City! This location has restored my faith in Wendy's Quality.

The staff here is really nice and makes an honest effort to get to know their customers. Regulars can expect to have their names and preferences remembered by the staff. Really great place for Coe college students that want a burger but don't feel like walking far away. Good service overall.

I like Wendy's especially this location 1st Avenue Northeast Cedar Rapids Iowa. The staff is awesome, the food is always good and hot. Depending on how busy they are there might be a little wait. Other than that I'm very satisfied. Have a great day, take care.

I went through the drive-thru at this location at about 10:15pm on Monday 11/16. I realized that my debit card was in my other purse (at home) when I went up to pay. I apologized for wasting their time and went to head out when an unbelievably kind woman stopped me and told me my meal was on her tonight. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Such kind, outstanding service. She deserves a raise. :)

They were really understanding when it was busy and the machine was acting up. They even gave me a free cookie as compensation. On top of that, the food is great and the people there are fun to talk to.

Used drive thru and got friendly service. Had to wait a few minutes for fresh nuggets but while waiting they offered us free frosties. No complaints about that location or service

Really liking the chili lately. The service was good, note that I went there around 1:00 pm and the drive up girl was really cool. Gonna have to try the baked tato soon. Tired of the burger experience.
