Lovely people, lovely place. My grandpa came here forever and got his haircut. My uncle gets whatever hair he still has cut. I get mine cut too. Finally - this place is booked constantly so Call Ahead!

Awesome little barber shop. Family owned for many many years. My barber, I apologize I forgot her name(terrible with names right away) she was awesome, very personable, polite and courteous. Did exactly what I wanted with my hair. I will be back here for sure, found a new barber. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. Support local businesses.

My first visit today was great. They are very friendly and professional, reasonably priced too! Just a great experience. Reminded me of the small town shop I used to go to as a kid. Sure beats the chain store barbers!

Since my arrival to the Cedar Rapids area, nearly two years ago, I have had the ladies at Frett's cut my hair. They do a great job and I enjoy my visits to the barber shop. I will continue going to Frett' Barber Shop and continue supporting Small business owners.

Fantastic shop. Great prices and friendly staff. Rarely do I wait for a cut, and if I do, it's never more than about 10 minutes. They don't take appointments; walk-in only.

I grew up getting my hair cut at a family-owned barber shop, and I'm glad I can continue the tradition here!

Jenny did my hair and was very personable. As an introvert she did a good job of making me feel comfortable, and she did a great job with my cut! Definitely will return for my next cut.

Great place to take difficult children. The women all know how to cut boys hair, how to deal with scared kids and I can tell them I just want his hair cleaned up a bit and they do just that. Plus my sons hair is so thick and they never have a problem. I just wish they did girls hair too.

Love this place! I've been going here since I was 1 and its honestly one of the best Barbers around. The atmosphere at this place is like no other. For living in a town of 40,000 Fretts makes it seem like a town of 400 with its atmosphere!

The best place to get a hair cut with that old school barber shop feel. Staff is very friendly & give amazing cuts!! I wouldn't take my son any place else. They also did a great job with my hair!!!

This is where I got my first haircut and where I have taken my boy for his first haircut. The ladies that work there are great! They are professional and warming to kids. It was a great experience and I would recommend anyone looking for the true barber experience to try Frett's.

Excellent old school barber shop. Friendly, fast and very good. I can definitely recommend them.

Family-owned. Went there to get my son a haircut. He's just under two years old. They did an awesome job with him and his hair. Cool atmosphere. Would go here again. Make sure to bring cash.

They have switched to appointments. So call ahead first. You can get your neck cleaned up with a straight razor, with hot towel afterwards.

Great walk in barber shop with friendly owner and staff. Way better then the chain shops to get your haircut done. Highly Recommend!

Best place in Linn County to get a haircut. They still shave your neck with hot lather, and a straight blade. The staff are all friendly, and good barbers.
