I love the pizza, but the dining area is too small. So, you either need to order "to-go" or arrive when they open at 4:00pm or late night.... because if you show up between 5:30 - 7:00pm you will be waiting for a long time.

Awesome Chicago style pizza! Highly recommend the Zoey! Great taco pizza as well! Limited seating and no reservations! Order early for take out!

Recently had their garlic cheese bread and it was HEAVEN!
The atmosphere is very dated, wish they had root beer as a beverage option, wish they would go back to hours before COVED (OPEN FOR LUNCH!)

Most of the restaurant review people have a bias for east central Iowa. I would put Zoey's up against anyone. We have many great pizza's in and around Cedar Rapids. In my opinion Zoey's is the best. Chicago style, New York style or Chicago crust served N.Y style. (Zago) you will not be disappointed. You'll know this by the wait.

A very good first time ( not the last) experience. The service was great, food matched that (Chicago sausage and mushroom) Atmosphere is very interesting. Booth seats could use a little cushioning.

My brother and I ate lunch here a couple weeks ago. My first time here.

Always delicious and worth the wait if there is one. Great Chicago and New York pizza. Don't forget to try the zookie. Awesome dessert of a big fresh baked cookie covered in ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate.

Zoey's is an institution! Absolutely love the food and the service team. Friendly, prompt, food is served hot and the team will box up what you want to take home. I don't know if I can eat any other pizza -- I'm serious. Try the deep dish, grab a cold beer. Delish.

Took my boo to this cute, aesthetic, hole in the wall establishment. She said "Boi, I want something boujie" and I said "Bet, we finna go get some good pizza." So we googled "Best Pizza Place" and it led us to Zoey's. We put on our best fit (which was extra drippy and we looked straight fire, NGL) and we headed to Zoey's. We walked into the restaurant and it was super chill, no cap, but it was also low key a relaxing vibe. We had a 15 minute wait time, but their service slayed and we got in within 5 minutes. We were seated in a window booth and Zoey's was just flexin' at this point with the candlelight mood. We were living our best life, the food was slappin' and we were eating boujie, without the boujie price. We ordered a small New York Thin Crust pizza that still lives rent free in our mind today. The crust was low key Slim Thicc. The Zookie was Bussin' and we aint gonna lie, we definitely caught feels. We felt like the Main Characters at Zoey's because the service was poppin'. Anyone who is saying that Zoey's sucks, is tweakin', super sus, a Karen, or Cringe. Zoey's makes all other pizza joints look Mid. Zoey's is the GOAT, Straight Facts.🔥🔥🔥

So, don't go here if you have a favorite pizza joint that you'd rather be at. Don't go here if your looking for the same types of pizzas you normally get. Don't go here if you think that you'll be able to go just one time. This place will have you, hook, line, and sinker on your first visit. It is absolutely some of the finest pizza you'll ever have. The service is outstanding, and prices are reasonable. There are three different crust choices: Chicago, New York, and NewZago (Chicago, flattened to New York style). The interior is a great scenery of old time photos and classic movies and pictures. They serve a good selection of beer and they have Pepsi products. If you come on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, I'm told you can expect an hour wait (you have to wait outdoors) right off the bat. But it'll be sooooo worth it! Great place. Masks are not required here as of this posting.

Delucious food and cold drinks! One person ordered the calzone. Not only was it delicious, but huge; enough for at least two people to share. We ordered the Taco pizza on the specialty thin crust and it was amazing!! Very charming place with vintage style artwork! We loved it and will consider revisiting when in the area!

Nice hidden gem, great experience with excellent staff. Chicago and New York Style pizza and Subs, for starters. A must stop and see experience.

This is our favorite pizza place! Great pizzas. The Zoeys is famous for their Chicago style deep dish but the NY thin is awesome too. It is a small restaurant with a great atmosphere, cool decorations and is clean. Service is very good.

My first time here and I was not disappointed! Pizza was delicious, should have ordered a small or medium instead of a large! Very filling! Will definitely go again.
