First time there. Very impressed. I had a BBQ chicken sandwich and kid had chili cheeseburger. Both were delicious. Compareable prices to other places. A relaxed atmosphere. Jake our server was great. He came to our table just the right amount of times and was very friendly. Will definitely go again

Plenty of beer and burgers on tap! Great atmosphere and our server was right on top of everything. The breading on the fish sandwich was subpar, but, that is why I got the burger. Aside from that our table of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Will be back again.

We sat outside, there was a great live band. Burgers were good, fries excellent. Appetizer cheese curds were excellent with great ranch! Waitress was friendly and fast. It was a lot of fun. We’ll be back.

Our first time at Short’s and we loved everything about it! The burgers and fries were spot on and the servers was knowledgeable, attentive and super friendly! Highly recommend!

The best burgers and hand cut fries in the Midwest. Love that the food is locally sourced and locally owned. Great atmosphere and family friendly! My kids love coming here. The back patio is the spot to be and sometimes there is even live music out back!!

Love the casual atmosphere! Burger was one of the best in the area and cooked to perfection. Cons would be that the small metal chairs are very uncomfy and I was bummed to see that there is no Cajun items section offered from the menu when I went...but the food and friendliness of our server was so good that it was still one of my fave new spots!

Burger was fabulous! I had the Chester. Fries were just right. Too full for dessert but will be back. James was an awesome server. Good social distancing. Bring a mask but you can take it off once you are seated. Nice and clean. Great atmosphere.

Went on Saturday during second half of hawkeye football debacle, I've been to shorts a few times and was trying to convince my girlfriend that it was the best burger in the area. She said it was the best burger she's had this year, we will be back. Great service, drinks and food, would strongly recommend.

The burgers are first rate. The fries are fabulous. I can't believe how fast the service was.

I had fish and chips. which was quite good. Server recommended jambalaya which husband liked. Server was very attentive.

Great local burger spot! We tried the cheese curds, as well as the Burnside chicken and Defiance burger. Everything was delicious! Cheese curds were flavorful, and the fries were fresh and plentiful. We sat inside with our young daughter but could still enjoy the live music from outside. Staff was excellent, very attentive and friendly! We will definitely be back to show off an awesome local diner with family from out of town!

Had a great experience last night! Spent much of my dinner talking with Tyler the bartender. Food recommendations were on point. Had a Burnside Chicken recommended by Tyler. He was right great meal and venue. Short's should be proud to have him on team.

We tried their bacon cheese burger and pulled pork, both delicious. Definitely recommend giving them a try. Cheese curds were tasty too. Eager to try the rest of their menu. Pictures in other posts don’t give the food enough credit! Not only visually appealing presentation, fries were Awesome!

I had the small ceasae salad with shrimp. Very good....one of the best salads I've had. Excellent food and service!

After a very long day this was just what I needed. A burger & fries, 1 beer and lots of ice water. The burger was cooked perfectly and the IPA beer hit the spot. One of my favorite places in Marion!

Had the Cuban 100% and a damn good Manhattan. 👍

I had the Jamaican Burger with an egg and it was really good. Reflecting back I wished I had gotten their fries so I could have had a whole plate to myself. They were well seasoned and really tasty.
