Hiawatha Public Library

I'm from out of town and needed a free place to hang with my 1 and 3 year old for a couple hours. The building looked small and unpromising from the outside, but was delightful from the inside. There were several areas my kids could play and the staff was very kind. My kids did not get bored. Would come again.

A great little library. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The atmosphere is welcoming to everyone. Lots of easy parking. One of the jewels of the city.

The staff have always been super helpful. Really like all the stuff to choose from and they have cute activities.

New library is very spacious. Meeting rooms, children's area, many computers and very friendly, helpful staff.

The staff is fantastic and enjoyed seeing kids in to take part in summer reading programs.
