Quality Inn at Collins Road - Cedar Rapids

Staff was nice, the room was clean, and the location was very convenient! The room, specifically the bathroom, smelled like cigarettes, but I can't really blame the hotel for negligent guests.

My only real complaint is that the breakfast area was a bit of a mess. The food itself was fine, but the counter was cluttered with napkins. When I tried clear the counter a bit, it seemed the napkins were placed on a sticky spill, so they all just broke and stuck to the counter. 😭

Clean large rooms. We had a couch and comfy chair and everything else you could think. Staff at the front desk was awesome. My GPS decided to take a nap when we were trying to find it. I called the motel and she talked us right to the front door. We missed the breakfast as we were meeting friends but next time going through Cedar Rapids that will be our place to stay.

Staff was friendly. The location was great. We could walk to whatever we needed. Beds were comfortable overall great stay. PLUS, they allowed pets, which was much needed!

I came to this hotel last night because my car broke down. I was so worried about being alone in the dark and on a whim but from the moment I walked in the door the staff helped to make sure I had a safe, clean and comfortable stay. Being a young single women all of these things are very important to me.

My car was still a wreck the next day and they made sure that I had all the resources they knew of to help me get it taken care of again ensuring my safety and giving me piece of mind.

Everyone should know this is the place to go!!!! The staff goes above and beyond for people in need.

We enjoyed our stay in clean, recently remodeled rooms. The shower had great water pressure and hot water. Stayed on 2nd floor no smell of smoke or foul odors. Family owned so employees cared about your feedback. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Great hotel. All of the staff were friendly and willing to do anything to make our stay comfortable. Our coffee maker didn't work so we called and they brought us another one in 5 minutes. Beds comfortable and was very clean. Saw staff cleaning hallways and lobby area when we walked through. Very highly recommend.

Does the job. Clean. Great service. No hassle. Nice small touches.
The shower head is deluxe and makes a shower quick and thorough.
I don't do the breakfast because of dietary restrictions, but everything else is nice.
I guess they could use more parking that is closer to the rooms.

NICE..... It was recommended to me, by another hotel that seemed to lose my reservation... I am so glad. Nice clean rooms. Great Great Staff. nice breakfast. I wish i was there on Tuesday.... They say they offer free Food on Tues And Wed evening. Next time i am in Cedar Rapids, there is no question of where i will stay. great Location Great room, quiet and clean!! Highly Recommended

These rooms were wonderful a great place to stay and a great place for kids. Enjoyed my stay it was as truly one of the best places I have stayed in a while. Most definitely will be back when i am in town. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had at a hotel.

We stayed for a baseball tournament. Hotel was comfortable. Friendly staff. Just what we needed for the weekend.

My friend and I went to Iowa for truck driving at CRST. However, things didn't work out as planned and something's weren't going as smoothly as we expected. Nonetheless, the front desk person Dani (not sure how to spell her name) was possibly the kindest person we had spoken to in the 2 days we were in Iowa. She helped us greatly with our situation (given that only dedicated drivers were booked at her hotel and expedited, what we were, were booked at the red roof inn across the street) and tried to get in touch with everyone she knew who could possibly help get us a room. Unfortunately on a Sunday everyone is gone so we were a bit stuck. Whenever we had left the training center we went straight back to this quality inn where another individual got us set up for one night so we could head back to our home state the next morning. However, in the morning Dani was down at the front desk and further spoke to us and continued to show nothing but kindness. Not to mention the room we had was wonderful for a motel. So in service my friend and i give this establishments service a full 5 stars.

Great place, quiet,clean, great breakfast food, rooms nice, beds and pillows were great. Service was excellent. Staff willing to go the extra mile for the guests.

Conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants, but only minutes from the expressway. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and breakfast was good. Will definitely stay again.

Upon entering my reserved room immediately the smell of clean hit my nose. That's GREAT. Also breakfast is offered starting at 6am

Even though it's only 2 stories, would be nice if it had an elevator.

Super place to stay. Clean comfortable rooms. Just need to put a mural on the wall blocking any natural view. At night it is awkward when you can't see anything but pitch black...lol
