They are great! I am a Realtor, and I have referred a client and my parents to these guys. I have also used them to resurface a sad tub surround in my home. They make your shower or bath look brand new. I highly recommend!

Dylan repaired/painted the bottom of our previously painted (prior owner) and badly flaking fiberglass tub in Iowa City. He did a great job. The finished product is a big improvement for a reasonable price (actual price was right in the middle of the quoted range). Be prepared to be flexible on time as they are super busy, but they got us in within ~3 weeks (we weren't in any rush so maybe they had openings sooner) and we were flexible on times on the day of as well as we did end up moving that around a bit. They did a good job of communicating with us throughout the process. I would happily work with them again.

We had our 45-year-old acrylic tub-shower unit refinished as the first step in a moderate guest bathroom renovation. We had a very wonky shower stall that was spongy on the bottom due to poor installation. It finally developed a crack in the bottom. They not only fixed the crack, but shored up the movement under the shower with foam. Bryant was punctual, friendly, and professional. The result is better than I had hoped for at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend.

Surface Specialists did a great job on the tub in my home two years ago and one at a rental property two months ago. Both had been surfaced before, and the rental one was in very rough condition (I didn't wasn't sure it could be saved). Scott was able to make both look like new - amazing. He was very professional, communicated perfectly, and exactly on time as promised. I highly recommend Surface Specialists and would call them again.

Scott did a crack repair on our fiberglass tub/shower enclosure earlier this month. I was skeptical as to how it would look and about the integrity of the tub floor but I was truly amazed when he was done. There was give under the tub floor and he injected what he uses and fixed the crack and you would not know to look at it that there was ever a crack there. And the floor is solid under foot. Amazing job. I am hopeful it holds up. Only time will tell. I highly recommend this business.

I am a general Contractor. Nothing bothers me more than Bad Communication; Scott and his team are quite the opposite. I have used Surface Specialists twice now. They are very Responsive, care about the customer and does great work. I had one home owner that had a crack in her tub. After Surface Specialists were done I received a text from the home owner.
