The best outdoor equipment place in iowa. Very smart people. I love small companies they sell product and take care of warranties right in there facilitates. Corporate do not do warranty in house .save a 100 dollars at menards,home depot, walmart, good luck if you got a issue with the mower you bought .your screwed. Keep up your great work midway thank you for all you do.

Look, I really didn't get any actual service done here at Midway. But I'm giving them five stars anyway, because they are so friendly, helpful, honest and accommodating that I'm very excited to now have a place I know I can trust for ANY small engine needs I have in the future.

I have a John Deere snowblower that's given me trouble over the past few years. I'm no mechanic, but I'm fairly handy and was able to replace the carburetor last year, which made starting the engine a whole lot easier... For awhile.

This year I ran into more trouble, so I brought it to Midway. They were quick to look it over and give me an honest assessment that it was going to be awfully expensive to repair because of quite a few issues that were largely due to the fact that it's such an old snowblower and so much is simply worn out inside. Told me that they'd be happy to fix it for me if I really wanted to keep it running, but advised me that it's just going to keep getting more expensive to fix, because the Tecumseh engine was manufactured in the 70's (which I knew) and Tecumseh declared bankruptcy in like 2008 (which I did NOT know), so parts for this old engine would continue to get more difficult to find.

So with that information, I decided to thank my John Deere for its years of service, and give it a proper burial. When I came to pick it up the old driveway-clearing veteran, the Midway employee who helped me load it back into my truck was even generous enough to offer that I consider listing it on Facebook Marketplace, as "they don't make them like this anymore," and "some collector might want it to tinker with or use it for spare parts or something." I hadn't considered this, so I appreciated the suggestion.

Anyway, these friendly and helpful interactions were enough for me to keep Midway's contact info in my phone for any future small engine needs. I'm sure they'll be seeing me again!

Wow-over the top! I brought my 5+ year old Honda mower in for repair and was told the transmission needed to be replaced. After a few days checking on the status I was informed that parts were slow in arrival. A few days later the mower was repaired and cleaned up. Now it runs and looks like a new mower. Great techs and customer service personnel!

Great service...Wide selection of products

We just bought a Cub Cadet riding lawnmower from them. We worked with Mike. He had great customer service and was very helpful and friendly. Mike delivered it to our home and talked us through all the buttons, parts, etc. before leaving. We almost bought from the John Deere store but felt the customer service and repair service was way better at Midway. Would recommend.

Top notch service. Friendly and courteous staff. When I took my chainsaw to them they did a quick 10 minute checkout to eliminate anything obvious before they had to check it in. They had me fixed and running again in about a week.

Spoke with Rod regarding getting duplicate keys for my 2 mowers as i lost mine. He was more then helpful getting my keys rite away. He also helped me line up a battery for my zero turn mower in no time. Always helpful and friendly. I'd highly recommend them for any other customer!

My experience was terrific. The sales person was able to get my mower started after setting all winter. This is where experience pays off he tipped the mower on it's side to fill the empty carburetor and pull once and it started immediately. I pulled a number of times before taking it to Midway Outdoor. I will remember this tip next spring. Thank you.

Wonderful people! I thought the rear wheel drive had gone out on my mower and would have to buy a new one. They were able to pull a stick out of the belt and send me on my way! They are my heroes... Most businesses would have sold me a new mower instead.

I bought a mower from these guys. A little more money than a chain store but the products are of a higher quality and the staff really knows what they are talking about. I talked with 2 different employees on separate occassions and never felt any pressure. It is great they can service your equipment right there also.

Great place to buy quality lawnmowers, snow blowers, chain saws and the like. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They service such machines and stock lots of parts and accessories. I have bought lots from them and have never been disappointed.

I bought a Stihl bg 50 blower from these guys last week. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. They seem like they are knowledgeable and were willing to answer any questions I had. Very friendly and I will continue to bring them my business!

Another great purchase and advice on how to best use my new Stihl string trimmer with attachments for multiple uses. If they had coffee am sure I would spend more time in their shop.

Very helpful staff and knowledgable. Carry Toro and Cub Cadet mowers of all sizes from walking to riding. Have onsite shop to repair/maintain equipment they sell. Believe they also sell snow blowers in season. Chainsaws and more.

Visited store 3 times before purchasing 30 inch riding Cub Cadet. Was able to ride mower to see how it handled. Free delivery and took old mower to dispose of. Delivery person took time to explain features of mower. Will be returning for needed service and repairs.
