The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center

Personally didn't find what I wanted but they have a very large selection from furniture to linens to clothes to books and more. They even have mattresses and cribs. Their prices are of course awesome, very very low. When I was looking in the men's section for both shirts and pants I couldn't find many things that weren't size XL. Nevertheless, a very good place.

Wow one of the better salvation army thrift stores I have seen. Very clean! Everything neatly put on shelves. Good prices! Very friendly employees! Highly recommend stopping here if your in the area.

I love shopping at the Salvation Army. The Council Street store is my favorite. I have shopped at the Down Town and Marion stores. They are ok for finding clothes and occasional house hold items. I have bought clothes, large toys, linens, dishware & books. You don't have to be on a tight budget to shop here, something like $.98 of every dollar goes to people in need.

Salvation Army is an awesome place to shop . The Salvation Army offers like new items and some brand new. Including clothing,, housewares , Sporting Goods , crafts, knick knacks, Home Furnishings , Electronics, kitchenware , extensive children's section from infant on up. They also have great specials on items weekly and their average prices daily cannot be beat.

They have amazing things here and a huge selection! I loved their New Years 50% the whole store sale. Got many things for little money.

Turns of this is the biggest resale shop in Iowa. Was impressed with how clean and organized the store was. Good selection of items and good prices. The staff was friendly and helpful.

33,000 square feet of thrifty glory. I saw with my own eyes 5 CRT TVs playing the Garfield movie at once while David Bowie's "Heroes" played in the background.

One of the nicest Salvation Army stores I've been in. Very nice, lots of selection, a little disorganized so make sure you check all the shelves on top of clothing racks. It even had a little place to plug in and twst electronics

I love coming here sometimes to relax and to look for things that I might need.
