Cedar Rapids Pediatric Dentistry

I just want to give a shout out to Cedar Rapids Pediatric Dentistry for getting my daughter in for an emergency new patient appointment and fixing her extremely bad tooth pain. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, they answered all of my insurance questions and the office felt very welcoming. Dr. Ursula is amazing with kids, she is so patient and thoroughly explains everything she is doing to both the parent and the child. You can definitely tell this entire practice cares about their patients so much. 10/10!! 🩷🩷

Yes! My young daughter had to have two teeth pulled due to an accident and I was extremely nervous. The team was competent, comforting and took the time to explain everything to not only myself but to my child, in an age appropriate way. My daughter even claims she had fun while there and tells me that her teeth just danced their way out of her mouth. Absolutely thankful for these ladies.

they are an excellent team- from the front desk staff to the dentist- dr. terry. they made my son feel so comfortable after our consult today.
worth our hour drive to see them. i’d definitely recommend for any kiddo with anxiety or special needs. 💛

We have been seeing Dr. Ursula for over 5 years now! The kids love her and can’t wait to visit her every 6 months! She takes the time to answer every question I have had from baby, toddler, to big kid! (Breastfeeding questions and education, pacifier, fluoride questions, recall frequency recommendations, healthy habits to start early.) thank you !!

I was hesitant since my children are sensitive. The staff was extremely professional and proficient. I'm satisfied with the care they took. We've had to do surgery for one of our children. The doctor made sure we understood. She made sure we knew all of the information to make the best decision. Not ones did she make us feel uncomfortable, judged, or upset. They thought of things before I had time to ask. They are kind, thoughtful, and gentle. The staff is extremely educated. They are busy but still make sure your child is the priority during the clinic. They also make it fun for children.

Generally, we enjoyed our first visit - everyone was friendly and the waiting room had a lot of distractions for little ones - one thing I would recommend is if you child has anxieties over dental issues, make sure you talk to the technician and dentist before hand about how they handle that. The exam room is "open-air".

UPDATE: the gentle and caring staff have helped my anxious kid to come into her own. Really can't say how much we appreciate the care in the past few years.

This is the only place I feel comfortable with taking my children for dental work/check ups. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My children see Teresa Geneser and she is amazing! She's so patient and informative. She gave me very helpful tips and took the time to explain everything to me. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for her. And her assistant is also incredible and does great work. Highly recommend this place!

Dr. Ursula was SO great with my daughter for her first dental visit! She took the time to educate us on home care, pacifiers, nutrition, bottle/cup use/ and teething tips! Highly recommend seeing Dr. Ursula! Thank you !

I cannot say enough good things about the dentists here. I have had a 2 year old and 3 year old both need extensive dental work done. The dentists spend so much time talking with you and making sure you know all of the options. They do great work and am so appreciative. They are even amazing at after hours support.

Got us in right away for a concern I had with my toddler. The office was great! Love this location and the Marion location.

I really liked the place. Everyone is super nice and friendly.So I would definitely recommend this to parents.

My kids were new to this peds. clinic and it was very disatisfying and dissapointing. There was no thorough cleaning the tech names Kayla was quick, rough, and very disengaged from me. The dentist had a few sentances in and left quickly. Will not be spending my money here Ever again!

They are suppose to be open today but are not answering their phones. How unprofessional. I am cancelling my appointment. This is not the first time they are having phone issues when I've called.
