Creekside Bible Church

The first thing I want to mention is that the youth group has the best culture I have ever found. I bring my little sister every Wednesday. They do some game time, some lesson time, and some small group time.
Non of the games feel super competitive, and many are team building.
The lessons don't shy away from hard concepts. The last topic they talked about was integrity and excuses.
The small groups are safe open times to discuss the lesson and request prayer.

As for the Sunday church,

The preaching is great. The pastor tries to only preach the truth from the pulpit and not speculation. If he does go into the realm of speculation, he purposely steps away from the pulpit.

Also the church is clean. I am, as of 2024, the custodian, so it had better be clean or I'm not doing my job.

I’ve lived all over the Midwest, from Chicago to Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa. I’ve been in a LOT of churches; I’ve been in leadership at more than a few, some good, some awful.
I have NEVER found a church so dedicated to knowing their Savior through His word, showing His love through their actions, or building a family in His name.
I’ve read all the reviews here, and I am grateful to see they are not all positive. Any church that is preaching the word of God well and honestly will ruffle feathers. God NEVER promises He won’t step on toes, and the ones who are disgruntled at Creekside were most offended at the fact that the word of God is preached without regard for how it tickled their ears.
That is not to say the preaching is “heavy” or that it fails to uplift. Far from it! Nothing is more encouraging than the word of God, and while it may make us squirm from time to time, that is the gift of the Holy Spirit, working through His word to continue the process of sanctification.
Creekside is full of people who struggle, people with pasts, people with ongoing sin issues, but that’s what makes it HOME. We struggle together. We love one another. We press each other on towards love and good works. Yes, Christian leaders occasionally have to challenge sinful behavior, but any church that fails to do that is simply sending people to Hell full of religiosity but without the gospel.
If you come visit Creekside, grab one of the folks in a blue name tag and you’ll soon find out what quality, Christ-honoring leadership is like. Talk to any of the people in the church and you’ll soon see what it means to belong, to be loved, and to be welcome.
Creekside’s desire is to build disciples, and their definition of discipleship is simple: Two or more people walking together along a path that leads them BOTH closer to Christ.
Go visit and you’ll see – Creekside Bible Church is a place you’ll want to be, with a Savior you can’t live without.

It's rare to find a church that offers a focus on God as well as a loving community. It's rare to find a church that teaches from the Bible, in order and in context. It's rare to find a church that welcomes all and encourages loving others while holding true to biblical principles.

This church has accomplished all of the above mentioned. After searching through various churches within a 20 mile radius, this church was the most welcoming, the most engaging, and the most loving that is still in operation.

I love this church where the Bible is preached faithfully each week. The people are like family and very caring with servants hearts. There is a great Awana program for kids up to 6th grade and lots of fun youth activities for kids up to 12th grade. Also great men and women get-together opportunities. Love this church!

The church is warm and welcoming and has a great children's and youth ministry. I love the website because it has good info about the church and I can also hear the latest messages that have been preached.

I love this church! They are so friendly and the pastors preach and teach God's word without wavering. They also have ministries available for all ages.
