Linn County Anesthesiologists

Negative experience with billing. I received a text message from Linn County Anesthesiologists that I had a bill in late March of 2023. At first, I though it was a scam text because I didn't recognize the name. But after the 2nd text, I looked them up and went to my insurance website to confirm it was legit. Turns out, it was. It took them nearly 4 months after my December procedure to submit a claim to my insurance. I never received a bill through the mail or by email prior to the texts (one came by mail a couple weeks after the texts). I'm giving them 3 stars because they did allow me to set up a payment plan.

The service of the people who actually work here is good, but unfortunately the outsourcing company they use to do their billing is terrible. I have called in and been told it was paid in full, only to receive a bill the next week for a balance due. Called back to discuss with them, they tell me it was their mistake, will take care of it. Next week i get a letter from a collection agency, call again, they said our bad, pulled it back. Absolutely incompetent.

This post is about billing only! I paid a bill a year ago and weeks later got another bill saying past due. I called and wasted a lot of time on hold. It was supposedly resolved and now a year later I have received 2 texts saying I owe for that same exact bill again! I had to waste time pulling up old records etc and call again. If I did not keep good records and remember I would have ended up paying them again. I wonder how many people pay twice. It seems to be outsourced billing based on fuzzy phone connection and accent. My husband was also overcharged incorrectly when they did not enter his insurance properly. BE AWARE, KEEP GOOD RECORDS!

Had there been an option for zero I would have given that for there service. The billing department is just horrible and has worst service representative, it had been mentally harassment talking to them each time to process a claim. They had already wasted 6 months without processing my claim. Highly not recommend service provider! His supervisor Bryan has also been rude.

Billing is awful. Paid my bill in full back in July and am still getting bil, notices I have called several times and no one will fix this. Horrible company!

Does not accept care credit which is pretty ridiculous. To not accept a non interest medical credit card to allow people to pay back surgical bills is unfortunate. Not helpful for a $700 (after insurance!) anesthesia bill.
