We had a blast at Jellystone. Staff was very friendly and helpful and always around when you needed them. The kids loved all the activities and events. The camp store had everything you could possibly need, but checking out the cute boutiques/antique shops in town is recommended too. The best parts for me was floating down the river and the Saturday night dance. I imagine that we will make the 4 hour drive to go back next year and will definitely be checking out other Jellystone campgrounds when planning our vacations going forward. Well done Monticello crew! You're hard work has not gone unnoticed!

We camped at jellystone this past weekend and experienced great staff. When we arrived we knew a storm was coming but could not have imagined the magnitude. It was at least 60mph winds with gusts up to 100mph we were tent camping and all of our stuff started to blow away including fully weighted down tents and shade tents we were able to weight them down and seek shelter in the bathroom. We had no where to sleep so we went for a hotel 32 mins away. Before we made it to the hotel the park called me to make sure we were safe and didn’t need assistance. I learned they drove by every hour that night to just keep an eye on our grill and other stuff we left. FANTASTIC staff.

The park was really fun. With the water course, pool, jumping pillow, and character appearances, crafts, tractor ride, gold cart parade. There is something for everyone and I NEVER heard the kids say they were bored. They actually took a nap and said I’m tired!

We are planning to go back and hoping to get a cabin this time and a rental golf cart!

We had a great time visiting during their Xmas in July celebration. The parade was great. All service members were friendly and willing to help. Camping trailer amenities worked fine. Wish their pool was bigger but bathrooms were updated and clean.

All of the staff were helpful and great to interact with. The teenagers working at the Wibit were cheerful and inviting. We enjoyed participating in the activities offered and appreciated the bathroom updates since we had last visited! We also appreciated the amount of shade at our campsites.

We stayed in a Cindy Cabin that slept 7 people, it was perfect for our family! We loved having a kitchen, bathroom & screened in porch along with a fire pit and space outside for games. There was so much to do for both adults & kids- we can’t wait to go back.

I had an excellent stay at Jellystone Monticello. Very nice well kept up campground. Just would like to sugest is that the main and upper bath houses need to be cleaned at least once or twice a day. They were never cleaned at all this weekend. That is the only improvement I thought of while I camped there this weekend of July 14-16. And also noticed a lot of the seasonals were going a little too fast on their golf carts.

We couldnt find a place to swim near the Maquokita Caves, so we found this gem about 40 minutes way. We were hesitant as, we are usually "in the woods" kinda campers. It is busy, but there is so much to do. We were there for 3 days and still did not get to do everything. The folks staying there were friendly, the kids working there were awesome and super helpful! And let me tell you those bathrooms were CLEAN! It is pretty open, and super family friendly. There is going to be a lot of noise but that is to be expected at at place like that. The drive there from WI is absolutely beautiful. We had no idea Iowa looked like that. Overall it was one of the best camping trips we have had and will be going back next year with more people in tow!

We took our DayHab group to the park today and purchased day use wristbands. Everyone had so much fun, the staff was amazing to our members and so kind. You can tell that they truly care about what they do and want everyone to have a great time. Our group will be talking about this for weeks to come! Thank you so much for having us! We will definitely be coming back!

My family traveled from Illinois to come here from a recommendation from a family friend. I was very impressed with the amount of activities that were planned and prepared for kids and families. We stayed in one of the campsites and were able to accommodate 3 large tents in our one spot. The campgrounds had a number of free easy access things to do for the kids, as well as some upcharge options.

Best campground hands down. So much to do and close to town. Daily activities and themed weekends.

We went over Memorial weekend last year and stayed in a cabin. The weather was cool so using the wibit was less than desirable but that didn’t stop the fun! It was our first time playing candy bar bingo. So fun!

This was the best camping experience we have had so far! My kids ABSOLUTELY LOVED this campground!! Can anyone say chocolate pudding dunk tank!! It was so fun!! Everyday they had so many activities for kids! Most of them absolutely free but some where you purchased items for but we’re reasonably priced. The staff was equally as amazing! I definitely felt at home with everyone there, the staff even took the time to learn my kids names. Best customer service I’ve had at a campground ever!! The spots were very easy to get in and out of with our truck and trailer. The bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. The food at the canteen was always good. There were plenty of times for interactions with all the bears and pictures opportunities. We will most definitely add this to our yearly summer vacation destination.

Excellent well shaded camping spaces here in May 2023. A perfect getaway on Memorial Day Weekend! The staff make it really great. They were all smiles and way too helpful. Yogi bear and friendd go sround in mascot suits and entertain at fifferent times and thr staff are involved in the activities. My son got lost and went to the staff desk. The owner escorted him back to our camp on a golf cart and took us on the cart to the beach! I'm impressed by the cool attitude of the staff and it is a well-kept camp. The bathrooms seem to be new and are clean. There is no poison ivy in the sites I have seen so far. They even have seasonal camping options for RVs. Events throughout the days and evenings. We are having fireworks tonight for Memorial Day!

Staff were very cool but they enforce the rules. Knuckleheads that get too rough or dangerous on the wibit get booted! Good job staff. We have kids on there that need to be protected.

We have enjoyed coming to this camping spot since it became a yogi bear. We love the extra things for kids, crafts, ranger store, seeing the bears and being with family! This place is above and beyond other campsites because of the Wibit, and planned activities. We also enjoy the fishing options of the pond or river. Many memories made!

Jellystone Monticello is so much fun for kids and adults. Tons to do throughout the park from the pool, to the lake, inflatables, paddle boats, and the activities they host such as scavenger hunts. Bear spotting is always a hit for the kiddos as well. We look forward to camping here every summer!

We always enjoy our stay at the park! There's so much to do. We especially enjoy the use of the golf carts. My only complaint would be how rough the road were and how dusty it got but some of that can't be helped, I'm sure. The new store was phenominal but it took way to long to check out; however, the food stand girls were awesome and helpful! I liked being able to save my info on file and order things but I couldn't get a receipt and they were going to email them to me (which they did) but they were blank. I just would have preferred that for my records so not a big deal other than adding them to our Yogi Club Rewards. The staff was really friendly most of the time and the gentleman who worked directly in the park was so nice especially since we saw him from early morning to late at night. The bathrooms were so clean, I loved that!

It was a great time to take the kids too. Lots of activities for the to do. They loved it. It was our first time and we will book again sometime. For the amount of people that there was there it was quiet. I had a 3 year old and a 5 year old.

We stayed here midweek. Excellent. Lots of activities for kids. The Wibit is huge and great. Kids spent hours on it. Lake has paddle boards and a kayak. Fishing. Couldn’t have asked for more.
