Motel 6 Cedar Rapids, IA

Motel 6 is always my preferred stop, because they are almost always "newly remodeled" - with no carpet, and clean lines. Not to mention the good prices!
The only thing about this particular Motel 6 is that the location is not on the highway signs, and I only saw it as I drove by, and had to take the next exit and work my way back. But it was worth the trip.
I'd make a point of staying there again if I were in the area.

Staff is very kind , really soft spoken! Always ready to help their customers! Affordable prices plus neat and clean rooms. The best in the area. Everyone should consider this place once for their living! Do check it!

This is the nicest motel 6 I have ever stayed in. It must be new or someone is doing a really great job of taking care of their motel. The staff was very friendly
and helpful stayed a few extra days so they went and
changed the linen, towels and cleaned the whole room again. They also had a larger TV then most of the other motel 6's. There is nothing bad I can say about this place. Only problem is you won't want to stay in any other motel 6. They will have spoiled you.

Definitely well-maintained definitely very clean. I'm going on my eighth day with my vehicle being broken down in the shop. And the people here are just so accommodating.

Staff super friendly! They always go above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable, and happy.

Rooms are nice and clean, even the jet tub rooms! Nice dining area equipped with microwave, toaster oven, tables and chairs for families to enjoy supper.

Close to restaurants, and activities! I'd definitely rent from here again!

Rooms are newly remodeled and very nice, Marvin was very respectful and helpful, Deli was also very helpful with check in and checkout, will definitely stay at this location again

Just a wonderful place to stay! Not gonna lie it used to be pretty run down but new owners have really turned the place around. New furniture, flooring, & paint add a welcoming touch to the place! The prices are probably some of the best in town. I also enjoy the fact that allow pets without any extra deposit.

Arriving at this motel 6 the ambience is family oriented. The people have a chipper and conversational attitude. If you have a dog they treat your dog with the most kindness. Every time we entered the building my dog was greeted with a treat. Josie, Julissa, Eric, Danielle, and Dani were all above and beyond with their quality customer service. If you’re staying longer than a few days, this is the place for you!

Night time staff unbelievable how rude they are irresponsible leave notes and leave dest unattended... would not stay again housekeepers are great under paid gab was great shareal desk been there as long as I can remember is under paid and the best

It was expecting something disappointing But the rooms were actually very nice very clean and well maintained met the owner she was very helpful my engine was blown in my semi truck and so it was a very sad visit but she made it much better

I must also make it known that Nikki who works there made it her mission to make sure that I was happy and comfortable in my room and fix any issues ahead

I really like this place it is affordable great price for pets I had my 2 dogs with with me room was really clean lots of parking food gas stations and stores are open near by walking distance literally i would recommend this place to anyone no noise people people who work here were really great if you need something just ask it was a great experience for us Thank you so much Motel 6 we will be back soon .

The front desk clerk was very friendly. A pleasant change from the previous owner and his employees. The room had more light than i remember there ever being in the 5 years I've come to this hotel. Cleaner rooms and plenty of tp as well as a drain plug! It's like the 6 got an upgrade... Watch out CR... No more trap here!

The employee named rex has made it worth feeling welcome and will be the reason I feel I could come back and stay .she had made sure to be respectful and made sure everything me and my family needed was taken care of .The staff here has all been respectful but The last two times I have came rex was the employee that had been working and businesses are in desperate need for hiring more that leave the impression she did.Let her know she is appreciated as well as anyone else that worked to make our stay a good one

Every time I visit Cedar Rapids Motel 6 I have a great stay the manager is the most pleasant person she always make sure we’re comfortable and have what we need I do recommend this hotel to all my friends

My husband and I walked in and the staff was very helpful. They helped us get into a room. They have been very helpful in things we need in our room.

Came in for my daughters birthday and the staff Danielle and Dani were so helpful, the room was so clean and smelled amazing!

We LOVED this place! Our weeklong trip by car included grandkids, ages 8 and 10, so some nights we camped, other nights we stayed in larger hotels with swimming pools, but on our way home, we simply needed a good place to sleep and get on the road again early.

We were greeted by a very friendly front desk person in an efficient and clean front lobby. We parked close to the stairs to the second floor and entered a very well-decorated and absolutely spotless room, with some simple, but trendy styling. The beds were comfortable (with those multiple pillows on each), the air conditioning worked well, shiny wood laminate floors again said "clean."

About 10 minutes into our stay, the phone rang and it was the front desk attendant asking if everything in the room was satisfactory. We said, "absolutely perfect." We've stayed in some pretty fancy places and rarely have we had a check-in call.

There was fresh coffee in the lobby at 6 am, so we could grab a cup and be on our way. We had never stayed in a Motel 6 before, but we certainly will in the future!!! The price was less than half of what we usually pay. We would recommend checking out M6 to everyone!

Patti at the front desk went out of her way to accommodate my various accommodation-needs. As I was in town to visit my mother on Hospice Care, I greatly appreciated both her efforts and her warm smile.

My sensitive system had issue with residual smoke in my first (nonsmoking) room, but Patti quickly settled me in an adequate room. I do not think any amount of cleaning would have removed that smoke smell so I would not blame the staff. **It would be great if the industry added fines to guests who did not honor no-smoking rules. Egregious offenders could be _easily_ identified by any _nonsmoking_ staff entering their room at or after check-out.

The staff is always amazing, some of the best customer service I've received at a motel and the price is good. The GM has gone out of his way to make this motel better. I stay here regularly and have noticed significant improvement over the last several months. If you are looking for great service, clean rooms, pet friendly, and affordable price..choose this location.
