The best car repair experience I can recall was had here at Tooltimes. While traveling through town we broke down on Hwy 151 with a failing alternator. I called and spoke with the knowledgable and helpful Amanda and she ordered the part immediately. We charged the battery some and limped into the shop where Tim and Amanda quickly got us back on the road. Thank you so much!

Tim was able to fit me in same day for brakes and was very friendly. He chatted with me while waiting for the parts to be delivered then got the brakes done very quickly so as not to have huge labor costs. 10/10 always recommend him to my friends.

I've been taking cars to Tim for years now. My dad found him and trust him, and I have learned to trust him as well. He has never tired to upsell me ever and is always honest with me. His estimates are always accurate so there is hardly ever a surprise in price. He can do the smallest job to rebuilding engines. I've been going to him when he was in robins, and now Marion, and will continue to use him in the future.

In all fairness I've known this guy for many years, but he knows his stuff as a mechanic and has always been fair on prices and will tell you if it is in need of immediate repair or if it really can wait. He's saved my vehicle several times and saved me money every single time. Yes he is a friend but he has more than earned my repeat business.

Had a fantastic experience at Tooltimes -- I was traveling cross country shortly before a holiday, had car trouble, Tim got me in very last-minute. Answered my many questions, very knowledgeable and kind, and didn't even charge me anything when it turned out the problem was just my user error and not anything mechanical! If I were local I would take my car there all the time now! Thanks Tim!
