New favorite restaurant. Food was amazing, no complaints. Staff were very friendly and on top of service. Worth the drive no matter where you are coming from. Food prices are good as well, all what we ordered I was surprised of how cheap it was. Thanks Jones County Local, you’ll see us again.

It was my first time there. I took my mom for a birthday lunch. Hannah was wonderful. She was very helpful and courteous and even got my mom a little birthday sweet at the end of the meal. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had the pretzel with beer cheese as an appetizer and it was SO delicious!! A must try! Burgers are also good..The atmosphere is really nice as well!

Always great food here and service! The food is always creatively handmade too! The menu recently changed and is still awesome! Great beer list too and the staff is always friendly! They have options for everyone! Mostly it caters to those who love local, creative twists on common American dishes and also dishes you may have never had! This is a good go-to in the Jones county or Anamosa area!

I stopped in for a carry out, ordered from the bar no drinks on Thursday September 21, 2023. I live in Martelle and having delivery would be a perfect world. I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich, best I’ve ever had and I have been around the world working in the airline industry. Home fries were great that will always be my side choice! We’ve had excellent drinks, service and food every time we’ve come. Love the atmosphere! Recently was there for a special event in the back room and it was perfect! The cranberry-orange mule was so good!

Great food, lots of menu selections to choose from. Very busy but has a lot of seating so usually no wait.

Ordered the pretzel as suggested in other reviews. Good decision. The burger was also delicious.

Great food at a great price. I got the Teamster Burger which was spectacular. It was so filling that I was only able to eat half of it! They give you good portions of food and the quality is great as well. Atmosphere is very laid back and clean as well. I wish I lived closer as this would be my local hangout spot for delicious food and drinks. I highly recommend the Jones County Local.

Only thing I can say is get the waitresses off there phones and tell them to be more aware of the customers. Our waitress was awesome but she was also running the bar. 3-4 other girls sitting at the bar on phones. But definitely will be back. Everything else was excellent.

We came on a Friday night and were seated and waited on in minutes even though it was very busy. Our waitress, Cerra(?) was fast, fun, accommodating and obviously loved her job! We'll be back!
