Great food, huge portions, great service. Only negative was the number of flies bothering us while we were trying to eat.

This place is simple, old school and neat. 6 of us ate. No complaints, unless getting to much for your money is something to complain about. Food was hot, fresh and taste great. Doesn't look like much outside, but don't let that fool you. The folks were home town friendly. 😁👍👍

Awesome small town Cafe. My son had a burger that tasted far better then the one he had yesterday from Steel plow. I had an omelet which was so full of flavor. I didn't need to add spices at all.

Food and service is fantastic! Had the Sherri's skillet, restaurant feels you are having dinner in your home!

Don't go here if you're looking for something fancy. But if you're looking for really good food with genuine friendly service this is the place. The plan was to go somewhere else but we ended up there and we were glad.

One of the nicest "hole in the wall" cafe's I can remember visiting in many thousands of mile traveling by river (or highway).

Always make the journey as often as I can. The food is great and reasonable with big portions. Wife loves there pancakes.

Down-home atmosphere. Everyone is friendly. The waitress was awesome...and the food was delicious. Small Town friendly place to eat!

Great place to eat for breakfast. I have never had the lunch or dinner yet but they do have a nice little salad bar from 11 on. I suggest this place to anybody. Good food good people. Small-town friendliness at its best.

This restaurant has a hometown cafe atmosphere. The food is delicious and you get decent sized portions. You won't go away hungry. And all the employees are friendly.
No dress code required, as I have seen customers wearing halter tops & shorts, dresses & suits, and work & farm clothes.
I like placing my orders to-do by phone. It is always hot and ready when I go pick it up.
OH, did I mention all the different kinds of homemade pies? They taste just like mom's and grandma's pies!
You can buy pie by a slice or buy the whole pie (which I have done)!
Or, if you have an occasion coming up, you can call ahead and place orders for whole pies, or order many kinds of salads by the quart, gallon, etc.
I would definitely recommend this Sabula, IA cafe to everyone!
