Timber Lake Playhouse

A great value, the matinee of Dr. Jekyll was excellent. Extremely well done organized and executed. The rotary stage adds a great deal of value. The actors themselves never missed a beat. It was a great drama with lots of twists and turns that kept us sitting on the edge of our seats the whole time. You’ll really love it.

Growing up in the 70s - 80s, we had a ranch in a nearby town - even though we lived in a suburb of Chicago. We'd spend our weekends at the ranch, and our parents took us to as many performances at Timber Lake Playhouse as they could. I have such beautiful memories of seeing shows there with my family. We sold the ranch in 2000, and haven't been back. My parents have since passed, but the fond memories will live on forever. Thank you Timber Lake Playhouse!

What a great place to have a theater- right in the middle of farmland! A nice venue, not large, but with good acoustics and sight lines. The production of Footloose we saw was excellent, and if it’s an example of all their productions, I’d certainly recommend going.
Parking was better than I expected, a smallish parking lot, but lots of space along the sides along the lane.

First time at Timberlake WOW! Way more than I expected. Saw the wizard of Oz. The show was great and the cast was fantastic! Will definitely be coming back great place.

Cool little theater that offers a wide variety of entertainment. Plays, musicals, movies, and workshops are all offered in an area you wouldn't expect to find it! Definitely a good place to catch a show.

This was my first experience at Timberlake Playhouse. I took my grandchildren to see Wizard of Oz and we all thoroughly enjoyed the venue and the play.

Incredible performance. I from New York and have seen many broadway shows. The performance we saw was broadway quality. Bravo.

What joy to introduce my grandson to TLP & the Magic Owl Theater!! He's the 4th generation of our family to enjoy the little theater in the woods!!

Always deliver great productions. I've been coming here for shows since I was a teen.

This is a small town theater just about all the plays I've ever seen have been well done I've only seen a few where I thought they could do a better job I like to go early to have a sandwich and a drink before the play wonderful service

Excellent singing, dancing and acting in Footloose!!! So glad we discovered this theater!

Church basement ladies 2 was great.saw 1 and it was great to contine.

Amazing show as always, drink specials were great also. Only complaint they needed to have better volume when actors where speaking. It was perfect for singing but hard to hear them when speaking

Attended the August 20 Jersey Boys performance. Best show ever at Timber Lake. Michael Fasano as Frankie Valli was superb. Kudos to Timber Lake for securing a big time talent from New York!

We saw a shining star I believe it was called last Thursday omG it was beyond amazing. They all did an amazing job. I have seen Andrew Loyd Webber's plays in the 90s and this small theater performed just as well and if not better. They were all so well casted and was a true breath of fresh air. I hope we get to vacation near there again soon. Thank you!

Attended the last performance of the Jersey Boys August 27 and was blown away by the talent that in the ensemble. You casting of the four young men for the Four Seasons was spot on! I felt as if I was at a Four Seasons concert! Best performance ever at Timberlake! Can’t wait to see the 2024 season.
