The volunteer staff is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and friendly. All of the exhibits are nicely done and informative, and the model train is particularly impressive. Definition with visiting.

A great small town museum that was built and funding by the people. Great exhibits put together by people passionate about the topics.

The model railroad is fantastic! Even better than the one in Sabula Iowa ! The diesel doctor is a wealth of knowledge, great for the young people to know about Savanna history and definitely don't miss the civil war exibit the third floor! I'm going back many many many times!

Love this place.......amazing displays and civil war collection and a 1950s depiction of Savanna il as a railroad hub with an unbelievable ho scale highly detailed model railroad layout.
