Decorah High Point Cabins

Our stay was wonderful!! Cabin and views are beautiful. We wanted to take the bed home with us, it was so comfortable. As for necessities, everything we needed was present. I think if I had any ideas to offer that could have made our stay even better would be robes for the hot tub cabins, especially in winter season. And maybe quality toilet paper :/. I did receive an email communication about someone walking around in an off limited area. That communication would have been nice as a text message as I did not read the email until after the weekend. But the communication made us feel safer.

My husband and I stayed for a few days to get away. It was absolutely lovely, the room was clean, the view was great and we loved the hot tub, especially at sunset. Check in and check out was easy as could be. Would stay again !

My husband and I had an incredible weekend at the Emerald Ash Cabin.
Check in and check out were incredibly smooth and easy. The cabin itself was easy to find, clearly marked, beautiful and ready for guests. The amenities that were provided were quality and plentiful. If you’re looking for a quiet weekend away, this is the place to go!

Stayed at the Emerald Ash cabin and it was so beautiful and perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Loved the staging of the cabin in Christmas decor and had everything we could have ever needed. Definitely exceeded my expectations and will be for sure coming back again! Spent one evening going out to eat at the Rubiyat Restaurant and it was a quick 25 min drive into Decorah and it was very nice and delicious. Highly highly recommend!! Can’t wait to come again!

The Magnolia cabin was extremely beautiful and accommodating. It was peaceful and secluded. Cleanliness was second to none. Any speed bumps were swiftly taken care of with extreme professionalism! I would highly recommend for any getaway!

Truly an amazing experience. Can’t recommend this place enough. We stayed in the Emerald Ash and it was just gorgeous, definitely interested in staying in the others as well. The cabin truly looks even better in person and it has gorgeous views. Very clean, amazing service and great location. It is easy to find as well and the different cabins are clearly marked. Seriously go!!!

Absolutely beautiful and private cabins! The owners have great communication and the cabins are so clean! We plan to make this our annual trip as a couple! Highly recommend staying at these cabins!

We absolutely loved staying in the Magnolia cabin. It exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness and comfort. It was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be staying again soon!

Loved EVERYTHING! I’m a tough critic, as a corporate event planner, I am experience driven. All details were well thought out. We couldn’t have had a better time! Girls weekend was a success, we loved Aspen so much, we didn’t even leave on day 2, which was planned to be our exploring/shopping day! The hot tub, comfy furniture, deer in the backyard, beautiful Christmas decorations, etc. kept us there, relaxing and enjoying our time together! Definitely recommend- can’t wait to go back!

Accommodations as advertised!! What a great place for couples to get away and relax.
Limited counter space. If you enjoy cooking may want to bring items from home. More of a helpful FYI. Not a complaint:)

We loved everything about this place, it's beautiful and clean and so many parks and trails as well as little shops to go to!! Highly recommend magnolia cabin! Can watch the sunset from the hot tub on the deck!

The Aspen cabin is a beautiful, secluded cabin with a great view. Be prepared to see lots of wildlife, including whitetail deer, rabbits, and a variety of birds. (But don’t be concerned…they won’t bother you!) The cabin is very clean and well-maintained. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom have the basic necessities. The hot tub was a nice perk! It was a treat to watch the sunrise from the hot tub. I have stayed here twice now and highly recommend it!

This was our third stay at Decorah High Point Cabins. We were able to stay in Magnolia this time - what a treat! Each cabin we have stayed in has been clean and has had everything we needed during our stay. The cabins are in a beautiful, remote setting that is very quiet. I will be booking again for next fall!

Decorah High Point Cabins are wonderful! Our first visit and the cabin (and hot tub) were spotlessly clean. They even provided a bottle of wine on arrival. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The shower water was hot and abundant. The green rolling hills out our front door added to the relaxing and romantic atmosphere. We will most definitely be back!

Highly recommend these cabins. My husband and I stayed this past weekend in the Magnolia Cabin for our first anniversary and it was perfect. The place was so cozy, the view was amazing, and the bed was the most comfy thing I have slept on.

Beautiful, peaceful cabin. Lots of deer and soaring birds, beautiful sunsets. Owners are kind and attentive. Glad we were able to snag a last minute cancelation. The holiday decorations made it a cozy and relaxing respite.

I read a lot of reviews before I booked and I'm not sure I can say any more. The Aspen cabin was private and beautiful. It was neat, clean and very nice. It was so relaxing that we not only slept well on the very comfy bed, but often fell asleep on the couch. The pics online are a very accurate representation of the Aspen cabin and the stories of the wildlife were not exaggerated. The first morning we saw some shadows outside and saw several does, 2 bucks and 2 fawns playing in the yard. They were so close I could see the differences in them. Sitting on the deck we saw turkeys and bunnies and birds galore. If you want to relax, if you want to enjoy time away, you cannot go wrong. The management checked in after a day to ensure we had everything we needed and we certainly did.

My wife and I just returned from a 2 night stay in the Emerald Ash cabin. We received an email early in the week, and also the night before about arrival time and the code to get into the door. Everything went smoothly. When we entered the cabin the first thing we noticed was how clean everything was. There was spa music playing on the TV and also a bottle of wine on a table, which was an unexpected bonus. It was the perfect first impression. We were able to use the hot tub the first night and really enjoyed it. It was just what we needed after 4 hours of driving. The couch was possibly the largest couch we've ever seen. Plenty of room for both of us to lounge and watch a movie while enjoying the ambiance of the fireplace. The cabin felt very private and we enjoyed watching the birds fly around outside through the large windows. We took a walk on the nature trail and saw some deer as well. We will definitely be coming back!!

This was our second time staying here and we plan to make it a tradition! Love, love this place! Cozy, romantic, and feels indulgent. A great opportunity to truly connect and focus on what matters. Plus there was a very special ornament this year! She said yes!

Was a quiet, relaxing and enjoyable stay. A beautiful cabin with great decor and everything you need to feel at home. We enjoyed the hot tub many times and loved it being outside to enjoy the view and wildlife as well. We are looking forward to booking again in the future.
