Long John Silver's - TEMP

Michael R was my cashier and from the start he was so friendly and polite. He let me know right away my order could take 15 minutes due to the several orders ahead of mine. My order was out in ten minutes. I watched him interact with other guests and he was equally friendly and helpful to their needs. Thank you for your great customer service

Is this location going to re-open? I've never had a bad experience here. The staff are always friendly and fast.

Whenever I come to cedar rapids Iowa I hit up long johns my favorite place. She was friendly today talkative helpful and I'll come back any day. The food was fresh not oily.

Absolutely delicious. When we arrived there was 8 cars ahead of us in drive through. We were helped no longer than 5 mins and out of drive thru in less than 10 mins total. Food was fresh and hot!!

We do not eat there often, but, having said that, im glad we did. It was very good.

A warm smile a hearty hello. Hot food, good portion, great flavor and decent price.

8/23/23 update. I ordered 2 identical orders with the same sides. One meal was misiing hush puppies and fries. The.wait in line was longer than usual and the casheir was not very friendly. This is not what I have.come to expect from a normally good service experience.

Food is amazing. Best Long John Silver's I have ever been to. They have had a problem with staff issues. The first time we went, the inside seating was open. The second time it was drive through only, but it's worth the wait.

Oh the food was freaking awesome I don't know who all was working tonight September 5th 2023 at 6:45 p.m. but they're the best employees al and good workers keep them working the food was great sorry no photos didn't think about it till it was all ate

We my elderly mother n I came to cedar rapids Iowa n neither one of us has had long John's in years. Omg, it was awesome, food was hot n fresh. The staff was very friendly, the lady looked older herself was so nice n friendly.

Only problem was the floor was nasty looking. Looked like the same greasy mop gets used in back of house as well as in lobby.

Not a food review (the food is damn tasty but not something I'd eat more than once or twice a year. Def not healthy!}.

Employee review: Jennifer knows how to do her job. Funny, personable, attentive and all without being phoney.

Very friendly staff and the food was amazing. The manager really makes this place great! I was having issues with my card going through and he still let me get my meal. That’s what I call GREAT customer service!

Service was amazing. Very well mannered young man who took our order. Fish, chicken & fries were delicious.

I hadn’t been to LJS in probably 10 years. It was just as amazing as it always was. Chicken, fish, fries and hush puppies were fried to perfection. Hot, fresh and delicious. And the lady at the drive thru was super nice. Yum!

We were short a coleslaw in our order we always order 2 coleslaw and only get one line for drive-thru is to long to go back and ask for it everything else was awesome

Completely unexpected surprise. It looks rundown from the road but is absolutely worth a stop for some delicious food. The drive up menu is an updated tv menu which is a pleasant surprise. My food I ordered was very hot and fresh and just amazing. I was not expecting the quality, not to mention the staff was friendly and fast. I will defiantly be frequenting here!

I do love the hush puppies and the oil is healthier than most heart wise, one evening I came through and the lobby was closed, 100% ignored at the drive through and no answers on the phone, annoying but usually it's cool

Drove an hour out of our way for the Lobster bites and they were as good as l remembered them when l lived in Florida 30 years ago. All around good, the fried fish 🐟 is always good as were the fries, tried a crab cake( we've been on a mission) and it was better than Red Lobsters 🦞 and Joseph's Italian Steakhouses. I'll go back.

So we are just two kids from Des Moines, and we’ve never eaten in the restaurant. We have, and I’m admitting it, prank called the place a couple times, but each time we’ve been greeted with amazing responses. The management must be amazing, because when workers have fun like this, it’s gotta be a great place to be. Thanks for the laughs guys!

I love long John silver's! Food is Great! I always get the chicken😍 they always let me us my coupon if it's a couple days past the expire date. The staff is friendly. I always ring the bell when I leave because the food is always great!

Their 6 dollar Fish basket was fantastic!! two hush puppies two huge filets and just enough fries. 💖😃 YUM
