We cannot wait to go back! Very nice campground. There are alot of seasonal sights with such nice people! We felt like we were in a new neighborhood, so friendly and helpful. Our site had lots of shade. It was a super hot weekend, but we had no problem. We were site 79. The bathrooms, showers, laundry were very clean. We ate at the restaurant and the food was very good. We brought our side by sides and a seasonal camper took us out to show us a few trails. Such a nice man! It has a great playground surrounded with sand if you have little kids. A small mini golf for kids, basketball, volleyball. A little creek runs through if your kiddos want to cool off in the water. The town does have a swimming pool as well, only a few miles away from camp. We can't wait to go back next year!

We spent a pleasant four days here over Labor Day, 2024. This is a nice quiet clean campground. Quiet time is enforced after 10 pm. There is s restaurant/bar on the property and it is decent. The restrooms and showers were kept clean. The water pressure was good even after the campground filled up. The owners are on site, visible and active. No rugs outside campers permitted. I would stay here again.

Campground was perfect for what we needed. Such lovely people and hospitality. Bathrooms and showers included. The restaurant is also a lot of fun. Lots of options without having to drive into town. Thanks for having us!

Awesome food. Nice decor. Great campground.
Internet reservations are jacked up. You get charged a fee for reserving a spot, and then a fee for renting the spot. They won't do anything via phone.

We had a late lunch at their restaurant today. I had the fried chicken and mash potatoes with gravy special and my wife had the grilled chicken chefs salad. They were both some of the best I've ever tasted. The cook does some kind of magic with mashed potatoes and gravy. I think a little cream. All made like we love it at home. When I come through Lansing again, I will try some fish. What ever their deep fry batter is it's wonderful for chicken. Salad was super fresh and delicious too.

Great spot to put camper in the Driftless Area. Trout stream runs through the campground offering opportunities to fish and creek stomp. Well-maintained bathrooms (showers coin operated). Mini golf was free and passed some time (course is a little rough/uneven). We did not eat at restaurant, only because we packed enough food, but was often busy with patrons. Would recommend and will come back.

Stayed over the 4th of July. Mostly seasonal campers and locals. Staff was mindful and helpful of "outsider". Great place to stay and explore the Mississippi River and scenic drives.

Highly recommend.

Perfect Campground!!! We stayed at Cabin #27, newly renovated and had everything we needed! Bud loved swimming and walking along the trout stream. If you are looking for a weekend getaway, this is a perfect spot!

I had the fried cod and everything was so delicious! I'm pretty sure we had the coolest campsite in the whole campgrounds!

Has to be the nicest and friendliest campground I have never spent a rainy night at and the food was excellent for the little bit of a price they charged. Definitely a place to return to,

We had the best time. Rented 3 campers for mama and all my sisters. We stayed Friday and Saturday night. The campground is beautiful. They have public shower house and public laundry. It is very clean and well lite. Beautiful firepit and lots of outdoor furniture to relaxing in. It was great better then a hotel stay. We only had to bring our food, bedding, towels, clothes and personal items needed. They supply everything else. Even the coffee pot. The inside of the campers are beautiful. The restaurant is awesome as well. Food is great so worth the trip.

Stopped for lunch, and the food was great. The omelettes and hash browns filled the plate, the cheeseburger and fries were hot and tasty. Just classic American food. Don’t be in a hurry as it took a little while to get the food, but just order an appetizer like the locally sourced cheese curds and enjoy your company!

Very nice restaurant...super cool how this place used to be a barn and was converted to a restaurant. Decent beer selection, popcorn for while you're having a drink and hanging out or as a little appetizer while waiting for your dinner. Servers were friendly, food was good, and it's a cool and interesting place. We also stayed in the campground for the weekend. Everything was nice, clean and well-kept and there were lots of activities for our kids to stay entertained. It was also pretty quiet and peaceful at night with only one mid size group making a bit of noise but nothing unreasonable. We would definitely stay and eat here again.

We dovetailed with a family reunion and stayed 5 nights. Someone was there when we arrived to check us in. Our campsite was very nice and level. It's very well kept, both the campground and shower facilities. (Like some other campgrounds the shower needed .25ยข for 4 minutes, so be prepared if you plan on using it.). We went to the bar/restaurant, which was hopping! The trout stream was popular, and neighboring camper caught a nice sized fish.

I don't want to give this place away to everyone. But, it is great. Great restaurant, great people and a great little place to camp. And I hate camping, so this is saying a lot for me. Can't wait to come back. Oh, the restrooms are super clean also.
