A great place to enjoy a primitive camping experience. Many trails and streams. Autumn colors are fantastic.

Great place to stay. Primitive camping (no electric or showers), but clean bathroom (outhouse) facilities. Firewood and ice are available for reasonable prices.

Larger of the non-horse camps of the Yellow River State Forest. Well-spaced sites and a surprisingly manicured look with paved roads. Inexpensive though primitive sites.

Peaceful campground, nice and rustic which seems to keep the RVs away. Most of the sites are essentially out on the lawn and quite close together, go for site 35 or 36 if you can
