Eagleville Preserve

Nice place to walk and get some exercise. Trail can flood in some spots but it is not hard to walk around it.

Wonderful place to relax your mind have a cigar and Observe the flow of the water.

This place is beautiful. If you come fishing here theirs the river and the lake. Please please please pickup your old fishing line and garbage. You can just park in parking lot and enjoy the view or look for birds flying overhead.

Great little park. Very convenient boat ramp to eagleville pond. Area was very clean. Beautiful view of the "waterfall" comming from the damn. The paddling up the eagleville pond and up the willimantic is fantastic.

Great place to sit and listen. Nice waterfall with a kayak launch in the area.

Decent trail. One part of it has a tree down. It'd be cool if they cleared it, but my wife and I enjoy walking here. It's a quick one too. Normally we do it twice. The dam is pretty.

Absolutely beautiful place! I highly recommend this place to everyone! People love to go there for numerous reasons, hiking/walking, some people ride their bicycles, etc. My number one reason for going there is to go birdwatching. Right now they have a small but beautiful flock of Cedar Waxwings. The best place and times of day to watch their incredible fly catching skills is over the water early in the morning or right before it gets dark. Nice thing is you can watch them right from the parking lot!

Nice easy walk.

There are easy flat trails across the street from the water fall that follow the river. There are park benches for a mile or so. Nice spot for people with limited hiking abilities and families with little kids that love the outdoors.

Beautiful, interesting place...whether you stop to see the waterfalls rushing into the river, or put your own canoe in and have an interesting (I always see wildlife!), peaceful, lovely paddle, nature restores your spirit(even if you didn't think you needed restoring!😉)
