Great outdoor seating area with view of the Whistling bridge. We had great drinks, great food!

Friendly staff and delicious food. Rooms in back are very nice, clean and comfortable.

We stopped by at 12:30 pm on a Wednesday. The patio and dining room were open. It was busy and there was only one server. Having said that, server Donya was friendly and very efficient handling all of her customers. Excellent customer service. The food was prepared quickly and arrived at our table hot. It was fresh and it tasted great! Will definitely stop by here again next time we come through Lansing. Perfect example of small-town America.

It is a wonderful restaurant! Cozy atmosphere, great service, delicious food.
It the cold months their shrimp bisque is the best comfort food. The portions are more then generous, the service is top notch. Try the baked ravioli appetizers!

Always visit at least once while staying in Lansing Iowa. Love it in the summer when you can sit out and have a great view of the Mississippi River. On a side note if you like shrimp I definitely recommend theirs I'm very picky about my shrimp but I was pleasantly surprised! Great place for lunch or supper!

Stopped in yesterday on a Friday afternoon road trip from southwest, Wi.
They weren't weren't real busy nice place, everything was clean, bathroom was very clean too. More importantly the food was great. I had the daily special which was Cod &Shrimp with fry's. Everything was real good, the shrimp was awesome lightly battered and crispy. Also loved the fry's.
Service was great too would definitely stop back. Maybe in a few weeks when the fall colors are peak before winter sets in. And we can sit outside
they have a nice little outside seating area.

Delicious food and lovely service! I wanted to try many items on the menu, but stuck with a friend's favorite. The chicken salad on cranberry bread is awesome! It was a really nice experience.

Cute, clean little restaurant. The food was great and low prices. Service we had was fantastic! Highly recommended. Granted, we were there at 2pm, but food was delivered very quick. My picky daughter even enjoyed the place, service, and food. Will definitely be going back when in town.

Such a cute place to stay right in the heart of Lansing, IA. Convenient, clean, and quiet! Two good sized bedrooms, nice bathroom, cozy living room and kitchenette area. We will stay again. The restaurant is newly remodeled and they've taken such care with all the details. Delicious fish fry!!

Have been in the last 2 mos. Menu change was disappointed they no longer have a ceasar salad on menu, but bone in steak ribery was excellent! Cooked perfect med rare. Plenty of food you do not go out wanting more. Romantic little diner dim lighting, booths or tables nice 1st date quite can talk. Have a cocktail very pleasant waitress

I had the BEST ribeye I have ever eaten at Main Channel! Great atmosphere, wonderful waitress, sparkling bathrooms. I cannot recommend it enough.

Love this place! Charming atmosphere and the waitresses are friendly and make you feel welcome. The food is priced well and they have somewhat unique selections. Love the signature mac & cheese sandwich!

Stopped here late on a Sunday night while traveling through the Midwest and went in only to notice they were about to close. Unlike most places that would send you on your way with a polite smile, the young lady that would be our server insisted that we sit down and eat. I had the Portabello Burger which is a Mushroom and Swiss. The burger was thick and juicy and literally smothered in portabello mushrooms. Absolutely wonderful! For a combination of food and service the Main Channel Grill can't be beat.

Our red hat ladies went for lunch. Excellent food. I had the turkey on cranberry bread and sweet potato. Also love their shrimp dinner.

Steaks were done to perfection. Shrimp had excellent flavor! Wait staff was on tap! Thanks for an enjoyable experience!
