Beautiful night, special friends, incredible food at great prices, and BYOB. What could be better? We love Oki and his family. This is our go to restaurant on the shoreline...always delicious!

Visiting the area and wanted something to eat that was kid friendly. We had a great experience. The owner/cook was the best!! Food was delicious. And the waitress was a sweetheart! They were both so great to my kids. I will definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

The food is amazing. I had a salad and an amazing burger, ad well as a slice of pizza. The service was great. The owner treated me like I've been there many times even though it was my first time. I'm stopping there again tomorrow on the way to NJ!

I went here yesterday to pick up pizza we ordered ahead for a party and got to meet the owner. He was so nice and welcoming and the food was amazing! We got pepperoni, cheese, just sauce, and garlic knots.

The best pasta marinara and caesar salad I have encountered. Home-made and fresh ingredients with perfect blend of flavors. I take a mini-roadtrip to enjoy this treat. Portions are more than enough. Will keep coming back. Good people make you feel welcome!

We have a pizza Friday tradition that has made us try several places. This is our new favorite now. Not always I put up 5 stars here, well worth it.
Fresh ingredients, thin and perfect crust. Flavorful and sized correctly.
The kind of service that makes you feel always welcome even if it's the first time.
Now we just have to go and try the whole menu.

I can't be the only person that spends the best part of an hour in a hotel room, ruminating over the options close by. The combination of food quality and service swung it for me, and I rarely go for this style of food. I believe that ndifferent service is a sign of a deeper malaise so I decided against my more usual country choices. I'm so glad I did! Great atmosphere (I wandered in still not knowing what I wanted other than calamari) and encouraging, helpful input led me to choose. The food was delicious, as a Brit I invariably find US food too salty but this was spot on (you can, of course, always add salt if required). Someone paying said my choice had gone down well with her husband. The team behind the counter were tremendous and completely charming. You will not regret choosing this as your option!

Well I went here initially because of reviews about the pizza, which panned out fantastically. It turns out the rest of the menu is amazing as well. Oki and his staff are fabulous, great chefs, and excellent hosts. Take a couple slices to go, or dine in for an amazing Italian seafood pasta. They've got tons of other dishes. Their garlic bread knots are also way way above average. Homemade Italian desserts, too.

Absolutely delicious! Small place in Old Saybrook, but worth it. Staff is friendly. I had the ravioli with vodka sauce and it was some of the best I have ever had. Wish I knew about this place sooner because the pizza was perfect. Will be visiting again.

Food was absolutely delicious ! The owners were so friendly and accommodating! We sat outside because of my dog, and they brought us over a heater! I wish we lived closer because we would definitely be regulars to this place. Don’t pass up this gem of a restaurant.!

We stopped on a whim coming through connecticut and had some of the best pizza we’ve had in a long time. The garlic knots were incredible, definitely worth the trip!

My husband and I were very impressed with the freshness and quality of the food we had here today….The owner/ chef was a delight. If you are looking for a place to go where everything is made fresh to order this is a must….we will for sure be returning.

Little roadside pizza joint, probably had the best meal of my trip here. If I was local this would be my go-to for Italian, I would recommend the shrimp a la mer. The pizza was solid and Ziti Bolognese was also awesome. Everyone at the table enjoyed there food! 5*+

We just moved to the area, and tried this place because it’s down the road from us. We just ordered a small cheese pizza to go, and he gave us a few garlic knots while we waited. Nice guy, nice little place and the pizza was excellent. After trying a handful of spots, this will be our go-to from now on.

Great quality traditional Italian-American meals with friendly service and affordable prices! The delicious garlic rolls were an added bonus.

Let me tell you something, this place doesn't look like much from the outside but oh my God, our family stopped there on our way back to NY and it was unbelievable. Food, service and atmosphere was off the charts. Great family run place and the owners daughter was very attentive to my kids needs. Thank you for being highly professional and for the great food, all six of us totally enjoyed it.

Truly enjoyed Saybrook Pizza & Restaurant… It was so quaint. Oki, the owner, was very pleasant and the food (garlic knots, pizza, calzone, chicken parm, buffalo chicken wrap, Italian wedding soup) we had was excellent!

This place is wonderful. I have been coming here for many years. The food is amazing and the pizza is literally a star. What makes this special place even better is owner Oki's sense of family. We are always welcomed with a sincere genuine feeling that we are the most important people in the world. We feel like family when we come and relax in this cozy gem. That is how Oki treats you. Oki truly loves the art of cooking and it shows in his food. I adore a special pizza that he is always happy to make with fresh wholesale ingredients.
