Dattilo Fine Italian

Beautiful ambience, service was amazing (Sebastian) and beef was the best we’ve had in quite some time. We topped it off with coffee and desserts.

It’s not too often we have a getaway to Water’s Edge but when we do dinner at Dattilo’s is always part of the experience.

Dinner was out of this world! The food was amazingly delicious. The dessert was just as good. Our compliments to the chef! But the icing on the cake was our waiter. Big “shout out” to Sebastian! He was so friendly and super hospitable and made our visit so much more enjoyable! Thank you!

Anniversary celebration. The food was fine. I wish the spice and seasoning really penetrated. It was more on top of the food instead of inside the morsels.

We stayed at the Water’s Edge over the weekend and almost did not go the the on site restaurant due to the recent reviews. I am so glad we did not go by the reviews.

Our experience at Dattilo was amazing! The waitstaff was very quick and attentive. We did not experience anything close to what others did in terms of service. Our meals came out very quickly and were delicious. I asked to switch my assigned side to the leek risotto, which I highly recommend you do as well. It was so good.

I would recommend this place. Don’t go by reviews only to make your choice.

*there were no weddings going on at Water’s Edge, so I don’t know if that had any affect on our experience. Also we went for dinner and Brunch. The review is for dinner.

What a gem of a place - we were trying to find a place to eat and ran a search- tried to get into waterfront restaurant - frustrated with zero parking we were hungry and unfamiliar with this area. Found Johnny Ds. Easy parking - excellent prices- white table cloths and napkins- waiter had white gloves on and was friendly and helpful- I felt part of the family in one minute. Atmosphere and table was cozy and secluded(safe distancing) I will definitely seek out this wonderful restaurant again. Prices good - wine excellent- menu was plenty to select from and lastly da- food! OMG fantastic! It’s like going back into time and coming out happier! Love.

Excellent food. Prices very reasonable for this quality. Scallops on little polenta beds were world class and dish was innovative, but still kept the scallops the star as should be.

Stopped in for drinks quick before a wedding and the bartender made a good dirty martini
