Westbrook Lobster Restaurant and Bar

We dine at Westbrook lobster at least once a week! We love the specials!
Today I had bacon wrapped filet mignon, asparagus and fingerling potatoes!
My mom usually has the mussel appetizer which is a meal for her!
My husband gets a different fish fish each time.
The seafood is always fresh!
I love the peartini! My husband loves all the bears on tap and the beer flights.
The desserts are great too!
The service is beyond out of this world whoever you get. But we usually have Robert who always takes great care of my mom.
Today she also got the seafood stuffed mushrooms that were on the special list for dinner!
They have an outdoor dining area for the summer!
It’s about $10 per appetizer and $20-40 per dinner see menu in pictures!

Very attentive staff. Our waitress was pleasant always smiling and very friendly. She was great I wish I got her name. I got the Fried Seafood Plate with Shrimp, Calamari and Clams. Was very good and came out hot. The other person got it with COD instead of Shrimp. She said the COD was e extremely hot and the others were hot and good. If I lived near here I would definitely come back but if I am around here again I will be back definitely.

Best steamed lobster. Best seared scallops. And best NE Clam Chowder ever. Highly highly recommend here for your seafood craving. And oh yeah, great service.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. The chowder and clam strips were delicious!

We arrived about 11:45 a.m. and there were maybe two other people there. Their spring hours say they open at 11:30 a.m.

There is a choice of sitting at a table, the bar or outside.
We chose the bar because there was enough room to eat, where some bars have had smaller areas, this one was comfortable enough to eat at.

I ordered an Irish cream and coffee with whipped cream.
My appetizer was fried calamari and banana peppers, My meal was the lobster roll with fries.
I was very happy with it all.
My friend ordered the Rhode Island clam chowder and really liked it.

I was happy with the pricing and the service. This may be a stop in my future, only saying that because there are so many options out there and I want to continue to try new places.

The food was PHENOMENAL! And the service from EVERY employee we encountered was beyond excellent!!! Our waitress Liz was a sweetheart and so attentive. My family and I appreciate the service you all provided and will be back.

Everything was delicious and brought out in a timely manner everything that was supposed to be hot was hot and so good, the wings were fist and very delicious, next was the new England clam chowder which had a lot of clams and was very hot so very tasty then our main course I had the fried cod, clam strips and scallops which had a very nice light batter on them everything was cooked perfectly, my girlfriend had the warm lobster roll which was cooked to perfection and was totally loaded with beautiful lobster, her son had the spare rib Mac and cheese which was out of this world best I have had we all tried a bite, then there was the burger cooked perfectly to order and the fries stayed crispy even after an HR ride home cause we did not finish them all. I would have to say everything was perfect for both of there birthdays. The wait staff was very nice and always there if we needed anything. I love this restaurant.

The best bowl of clam chowder we’ve ever had! The lobsters were huge and delicious! Our server was awesome- the entire restaurant had attention to detail and cared! Wonderful food and wonderful experience

Yes, I have a lot of five star reviews, but that’s because we do a lot of research before we go anywhere. We have been to Westbrook Lobster about 4-5 times now and it has always been amazing. And over the last few years they have expanded their outdoor dining area. Today, Mother’s Day, the staff was friendly and attentive, the service was quick and the food was exceptional!!

We frequent this restaurant often and always have had a great experience! Service is always great and the meals are outstanding. This past visit we had the Spicy Shrimp dinner special with lobster cheddar mashed potatoes and was probably the best shrimp dinner I have ever had. Service was awesome with very friendly and courteous staff and bartender

Casual patio dining with beautifully prepared food. Not only scrumptious but pleasing to the eye. We were blown away. Also, our server was attentive and friendly. She seems to love her job.

Best lobster roll in Connecticut, and the fried clam strips are equally delicious. I like their choice of local beers too. Great place on the coast. If you're on Route 1 you have to stop in!

It was great my third time visiting ..the food was great and dessert even better a s'mores cheese cake great service is fabulous ..I recommend this place any day of the week..

Our first time here to celebrate a birthday as we were shopping in the Clinton Outlet prior. The food was delicious as our family ordered 2 lobsters and a hot lobster roll. Our waiter/bartender, Aaron was personable and friendly. Overall, it was a great experience and place. Definitely coming back again.

Fried seafood was not covered in cakey batter it was very light and tasted very good .fresh fries. Peat walnut salad was great for the two of us

Best sea food around CT. Today we tried the Seafood Risotto. It was incredible creamy it comes with mussels, shrimp, scallops and more. We also ordered the Lobster pot pie.

Consistent and always delicious food and Guiness! A must experience.
