Karen at Shoreline Framing & Gift Shop is amazing and so helpful! I came to her (basically last minute) for a Christmas gift for my parents. She gave me a lot of ideas and showed me many options all within my price range. The end result, which is a framed 10x14 photo from their Italy trip, turned out perfect and is going to look so good on their wall in Vermont. I will definitely be going back Karen in the future!

Absolutely amazing experience! Karen was incredibly easy to work with and made the experience very enjoyable. She walked me through all my options and gave me recommendations based off what I was looking for. A lot of effort was put in to making sure I was happy with the finished product, and I very much am - it came out phenomenal! 10/10 I will 100% be a repeat customer!

Karen at Shoreline Framing has been fantastic to work with. Her framing is extremely professional - consistently excellent, despite my throwing a wide (and also odd) range of materials at her (hinted at in my included photos). She always takes the time to discuss and demonstrate what the options are for each job, and finds a way to bring out the best every time, even when limited by a given parameter, such as having to use a similar frame on a wide range of images to unify a collection for display. I've come to very much trust her eye with regard to anything I bring her for framing. I especially hoped to find someone who'd treat an unusual collection of genre movie posters as the works of art they are - someone who'd bring an artistic and tasteful eye to their framing - making them look equally at home hanging in an art gallery, or in a cinema. Thankfully, I've found the right person. I'm currently on a third wave of work with her, and look forward to more waves in the future. Shoreline is the place for me.

Karen did an amazing job helping us decide on the appropriate mat and frame for a piece of artwork our daughter completed in college. We are very happy how it turned out. The work was completed in a very timely manner. Highly recommend this wonderful shop in Westbrook CT.

I took in several prints to be framed and the owner was so easy to work with...pleasant, patient, helpful, and professional. I am thrilled with the way they all turned out!! I had a old picture from my husbands childhood, that I wanted to restore. I wasn't sure if it could be done because of the age of the picture. I also have no experience with matching color for frame and matte. Karen was patient and helpful, she picked out a perfect combination that fit the picture so well. Karen did an amazing job framing a very special picture of Brooks Robinson for me. This picture meant a lot to my Dad since he was a scout for the Orioles. We will treasure it always and having someone who takes pride in her framing work was fantastic. Highly recommend Shoreline Framing.

We just moved to the area and had 2 odd sized water color paintings to frame. Karen scheduled us to come in, making it convenient and safe for us as well as herself. She is very knowledgeable and great at her craft. She has a plethora of choices for framing, matting and glass. Because we have a lot of windows shining light in the house she suggested the museum glass and we couldn’t be more impressed with it. We look forward to continue working with Karen on any other framing needs we may have.

Working with Karen was wonderful. She was patient and understanding, despite a limited budget and me not being sure what i liked or even wanted. She helped us choose a frame that was both affordable and beautiful and kept us in the loop as we waited for the materials to arrive. Karen was tremendous! She asked us a couple of questions and made a few recommendations. We liked every frame she showed us. She didn't try to up-sell and listened to exactly what we wanted. Because it was a custom frame it took a few weeks but the results were spectacular and well worth the wait. The frame gorgeous and completely compliments the mat and our wall color. I would use her for any framing job, no matter the size. The photo looks like it belongs in a museum!

Five stars for sure! I had a last minute idea for a framed birthday gift but i needed it immediately... I ran into Shoreline framing and met Karen Tracy the owner. She was amazing!! She help me pick out the perfect frame, she created the perfect mat, and in an hour and a half I had my perfect birthday gift for a very special person! I would recommend her shop to anyone who needs any custom framing. She does beautiful work and she’s a wonderful person!

I brought an old photo (c.1961) - a Navy Training Graduation photo - to Shoreline Framing to create a wedding gift to my husband.
Karen referred me to a local craftsman to enhance the photo as it had suffered fading and staining over the past 60 years !
We selected a great frame and I took Karen’s advice - the framed piece is stunning. I nonchalantly placed it in our home and waited for my husband to see it .... his reaction was priceless ! It hangs in our dining room and it has already brought back to life many memories. I’ll be back!

I had a wonderful experience at Shoreline Framing. The shop had exactly what I was looking for, a replication of a vintage map of Westbrook. Grove Beach has been a part of my family for over 55 years and I have such fond memories of this wonderful town, especially riding in my uncle's boat and playing on Duck Island when I was very small. Karen, the owner took her time with me and found the perfect color frame and matting for the Westbrook map. She did an amazing job and looks terrific!
