Rest Stop 6 Inn

I was traveling for work. I drive truck and needed a place for my 34 hour restart. I found this AMAZING GEM and was immediately attracted first, because of its price. Then I saw that it had some really good reviews. I booked through a booking service. Immediately someone contacted me via text. We texted back and forth. I later found out that I was communicating with the owner JR. I was thoroughly WOWED with the cleanliness, the attentiveness of the owner, and his phenomenal attributes of making sure customer service and accommodation was a top priority!!! Not only did he go out of his way to assure that my needs were met as well as the needs of his other guests, he even went as far as to drive me into town in his personal vehicle since mine was hooked up to a loaded trailer! This is the kind of small town charm and customer service that is missing in these big chains and why I personally will choose a small operation such as this! If you ever have the opportunity to book a stay at the Reststop Six Sixshooters Inn in Pennsylvania, I would recommend doing so! You will not be disappointed with the accommodations or with the beautiful scenery in this part of Pennsylvania!!!

The owner JR is the best inn keep you could ask for. We stay every year in hunting season. Easy to find along the highway(route 6) and it’s in the middle of the forest so there’s a lot to do in the area if you like the outdoors. He’ll be sure to recommend some great restaurants nearby when you check in too.

It's a pretty small place but for the money the owner has gone above and beyond to make you not only comfortable but have comforts that most hotels will not offer. Hes got real house linen towels, and super comfortable beds and linens on the bed. Full size Kureg coffee machine. For the value, it's a really comfortable place to spend the night is and leave early in the morning.

Small but wonderful place right on the highway! Owner was very kind and hospitable with the stay. Amenities provided were wonderful, AC worked well and comfy beds!

If traveling through the area I highly recommend staying here!

Excellent non-chain budget motel near the national forest. Good, affordable food across the road as well. Stayed here overnight on a motorcycle trip and it was perfect. Room was clean and had everything we needed. It's a bit campy and dated but that's part of the charm (along with the price) in getting away from the Comfort Inns of the world.

S they are very nice room, they clean then everyday and the staff are very friendly 😀..

Great place to stay. Included a nice AC, fridge, microwave, small desk, and plenty of places to charge items and use a laptop for work. Rustic looking inside. I am former housekeeper at a hospital and I can tell they care about how clean their rooms are. I was only staying here for work purposes two nights. Great service and JR and his spouse do a great job! The mattresses are ace unless you enjoy sleeping on a rock. Lol.

We had a very nice stay, JR, the owner, was very helpful and recommended Table 105 in Kane, which was an excellent meal. Will recommend this to everyone, and will stay again when I can get back up.

The rooms smelled fantastic. It had a nostalgic touch to them. I felt safe and secure.
J.R. was a magnificent host. We did business and I enjoyed my end of it. The prices were nifty and the spot is killer. The place had a magical feel about it.

Great stay and already planning a next trip down in a few months and will be using this hotel for the stay. Clean rooms and was quiet. The main reason I booked at this hotel was because there was a keurig in the room and that’s a rare find, i love being able to make my own coffee so kuddos to y’all for that, they do provide a good variety for $1/cup which is cheap. The rooms are clean and have a microwave, nice fridge and the beds are freaking amazing. The rooms are non smoking but they have chairs and tables outside the rooms, which if your facing the mountain you’ll definitely catch a beautiful sunrise. JR was awesome and extremely kind. I was exhausted by the time I got there and he was on point and quick with the check in, even offered to take my bags from the car to the room, huge sweetheart. I will definitely be using this hotel for my next stay coming in a few months, they are pet friendly and that’s a huge plus for me and my next trip will be just to get out of the city and I love this area, we used to have a camp outside of Sheffield, last time I was down this way was almost 27yrs ago and this area is just absolutely beautiful as it was then, not much has changed at all and the locals are always nice and friendly as I remembered. See y’all again in a few months 😁😁😁

Outstanding customer service by the Owner JR! Room was clean, and felt safe staying here. Drinks are available at the bar for guest, food and ice cream across the road. Only small complaint was mattress. Would certainly not hesitate to go back for next stay in the area.

Great little place to stay. JR was a great host and had a ton of local guide information. I give it 5 stars because of the over the top friendliness and customer care. The memory foam mattress lacked some desire. Otherwise, we loved our night at this establishment.

JR has a very nice motel . Rooms accommodate you by having a microwave and refrigerator . Air conditioner and even a blow dryer !!
Nice location by hearts content , kinzua dam and other beautiful recreation . Would very likely come back if ever in this area again .

This is an excellent motel. The host was helpful and courteous. The room was more than adequate and clean. I would stay there again.

Rooms are very cozy but fully functional. The price was outstanding considering the amenities provided (microwave, fridge, a/c, TV, free wifi, and full bathroom). The owner was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable of the area; he even brought in a heater for us in case we were too cold (low 50's in June). If you're looking for a spa, sauna, pool, hot tub, etc. look elsewhere. This is the perfect place to spend the night after hiking, cycling, fishing, etc.

Always a great place to rest your head. The beds are comfy, and the rooms are cozy. JR is a great host, and knowledgeable of the area. The ice cream/diner across the road is a great place for dinner.

JR is a fantastic host. He provided great info and recommended a cool restaurant I tried on my last day. Everything was great. The hotel is newly redone and very clean. I just can't say enough. I will be back!

I stayed here while transitioning jobs. My 5 month old daughter stayed with me. The proprietor was fantastic! Personable, accommodating and a gentleman. As a women with a small child, I found the accommodations safe and quiet. He checked on us daily to see if we needed anything. He even took the liberty to clean off our car during a snow storm. Twice!!! He is a class act. I would recommend this establishment for any family. Clean, quiet, safe and comfortable.

Very awesome rooms and very quiet this is the nicest and cheapest place to stop

I was in route to see my parents as a last minute thing. On my way to Sheffield I looked up hotels in the area and this place popped up. I called spoke to J.R and gave him my info for the reservation. I was going to be arriving late and he mentioned that he might not be there, but that he would send me a text informing me of my room number and where the key was going to be. When I did arrive he was still on the property and was super helpful and friendly. The room was perfect, comfy beds, and the bathroom was nicer then the one in my apartment. This was the perfect spot for me since my family lives in Sheffield I was able to spend more time with them then driving to them and for the price you really can’t beat it.
I’m looking forward to being able to visit my family more often knowing we have a local inn that is close and most importantly pet friendly!!
