8° Thai Ice Cream

The service was fast and the employees were welcoming and kind! Inside of the location is kept clean and the food is prepped with both attention to detail and plenty of measures to prevent cross contamination between ingredients.
There was an array of signature flavors of rolled ice cream and hot and cold boba teas to order as well. There is seating and a self serve cotton candy machine inside.
You could get your ice cream as is or pay a flat rate for anything between 1 and 5 toppings.
I got a strawberry rolled ice cream topped with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and strawberry flavored popping boba, pocky, and syrup. Before today, I can admit that I was skeptical about rolled ice cream being any different than your run of the mill grocery store half gallon, but I was SO wrong! It both tasted and felt texturally fresher than soft serve or freezer ice cream, and I could not get enough of the texture of the fresh strawberries chopped into the ice cream base- the ice cream is spread so thin that the mix ins maintain a light and icy melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Bring the street food experience inside at 8°, a perfect small business to support. I look forward to going back!

Awesome place to visit. Their drinks and Ice Cream are the best. They have seating and they even have a Cotton Candy Machine where you make your own. Great prices and friendly people. Check it out!

This place is amazing!! It was my first time having Thai ice cream and I had no clue it would be all the ingredients freshly prepared in front of me. I'm so amazed. I got the monkey business (Nutella & banana) and it was so good! The best part was because it wasn't pre-prepared ice cream with a bunch of preservatives and added sugar, I didn't experience any sort of sugar crash after. I can't wait to come back and try the other flavors!

This place is incredible. The people are so nice. I can't have dairy, but I saw a sign saying they had dairy free ice cream. I was prepared to just have maybe 3 flavors for choices. When she told me I could have anything on the menu, I was so excited. I got the "Evil Berry" blueberry ice cream rolls. It was so good! The blueberries gave a good pop of flavor everytime I bit one that escaped the chopping tools.
I'm adding this place to my list of vegan-friendly places I can visit.

If you’re on Main St. and want some Ice Cream, this is the place to stop. They have a vast menu of flavors and reasonable prices for what you get. I was happily surprised when I saw them making a fresh Thai tea to make my Thai-lychee flavor rolled ice cream! It’s almost as much fun to watch them roll it as it is to eat =) I have to come back & try the boba!

I'd never heard of Thai rolled ice cream until I came across this little gem while on vacation in the Poconos. The lychee Thai tea flavor was delicious!

This place is amazing ! We were here like two-three times a week this whole past summer . The boba tea is great but a fave is the rolled ice cream. It is so unique but also nothing like I’ve ever tasted before. Super creamy and the flavors they offer are delicious. I do prefer just plain vanilla because I can appreciate the creaminess but the blueberry and strawberry are also amazing. Price is high but worth it. They also offer these cakes and drinks that are Thai and are very nice to be able to enjoy something from another culture. The place is clean and love the décor!

A definite must-visit for anyone exploring the Poconos! Families, in particular, should make a stop here – it's a delight that both adults and kids will thoroughly enjoy.

Having a dairy free and gluten free diet can be challenging, so I was super excited they had dairy free and gluten free options. I’ve never had Thai ice cream before, but these little rolls are delicious! Awesome service and yummy ice cream (dairy free for me!)

Not always easy to find dairy-free ice creams... but 8 Thai Ice Cream proposed all flavors without dairy and chocolate is perfect. Great choice of flavors at reasonable prices.

Best place in the burg to get bubble tea. Workers are very friendly! If you've never had bubble(boba) tea definitely give it a try. The ice cream is also great! I also added their ours on the photos
