American Leak Detection of Boise

Was alerted by a water main leak when I received a HUGE water bill. Have about 300 feet of water line from the public street to my house and it showed no signs of leak at surface. Called American Leak Detection and they ran Helium through the water line and were able to detect the leak within 3 ft of the problem. The helium bubbles through the water line amplifying the leak. Turns out the leak was under our concrete driveway. I was able to slice into my driveway with a concrete saw and only remove a small portion. Thanks American Leak Detection, you saved the day.

Cameron was very professional and listened to our concerns about the leak in our pool. We needed a second opinion, so we called this company. He sure found it. Our basement flooded recently due to a break or leak in our water main coming from the street. Time was of the essence to determine where the leak occurred since insurance coverage as well as getting on the books with a repair company were both depending on it. At the recommendation of Mr. Rooter's field representative, Sebastian, I called Debbie at American Leak Detection. As frustrated and concerned as I was, Debbie was wonderful to deal with over the phone, and once she heard our family circumstances (family of five with no running water, summer heat starting to hit, and no way to run our water-fed AC/heat pump system), she found a way to get her crew out here the next day for testing. I received a courtesy call in advance of Matt and Jim's arrival, and by the time I got home from my office, they had arrived, completed their testing, and identified where the water line was leaking. Both gentlemen were very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. After their visit, I called Debbie at the office again to thank her, to give Matt and Jim some kudos, and to see how we can expedite getting on the schedule with Mr. Rooter. Debbie was once again awesome, she assured me that she will coordinate with Mr. Rooter first thing in the morning, and she told me that we are at the top of the list under these circumstances and going into a holiday weekend. Providing a service for a fee is something everyone in the game should be doing, BETTER be doing, or they won't be in the game for long. But taking a genuine interest in their customers' circumstances, going out of their way to find fast solutions, and even just putting a fun, friendly touch on things are what separate great companies from the rest. I am very impressed with American Leak Detection, and I would absolutely recommend them if and when you run into trouble. Thanks, ALD!

Kam and Lou found the leak in our swimming pool and helped by doing a small repair to stop the issue. Not only were they thorough, they were very kind. After months of worry, over the winter, we called them and they quickly found the problem and made certain that there were no secondary leaks. Don't wait to call them.

Matt was running a bit late from his previous appointment, which happens from time to time, but he made sure to communicate where he was and his updated ETA. Once he arrived he got right down to business. In addition to finding the leak pretty quickly, Matt also offered some great information and advice about the entire process of locating and repairing the leak in my water main. Fred is phenomenal!! He was honest and didn't make me feel like I was being taken advantage of. I would recommend him to everyone that needs to check for water damage in your house due to leaks or cracks.
