Barrel 55 bbr

We have been going to Barrel 55 for a year now and they have never disappointed. We have dined in, ordered takeout, and ordered a cake for a special occasion. We used to have to drive to Dubois for better food. Now we don’t have to every time we want something that is delicious and fresh. The portions are more than enough. Sometimes there can be a wait during dinner rush, but that should be expected for any restaurant with quality food.

A real gem in Brookville! Great menu, delicious food and cocktails, friendly and attentive service. The take home option for the extensive dessert case is dangerous!

Stopped in for the Log Yard Brewing tap takeover. The Short Rib Mac and Beer Battered Onion Rings were amazing!

Great newer restaurant in town. My wife and I have been here numerous times and always have a wonderful time. The food is always perfectly prepared and delicious. After the amazing meal, we always walk over to their bakery area to get something for home. Again, always great. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in the area. You can tell that they take pride in what they do because it shows.

This was a great little place. We had scallops which are typically tricky to cook but they were done perfectly. The bartender was terrific. She offered us a pumpkin bourbon cinnamon cider sangria and it sounds scary but it was really good. They have a bakery and coffee shop as well

We went to the one counter bakery, but what was in that counter was amazing. We had Long John donuts (custard filling) chocolate and sprinkles on top. The Lady cream horn, which were phenomenal. There were other selections as well and I'm sure they are just as tasty. The restaurant (bbq)wasn't busy, but it was early afternoon, if they serve food anything like what the bakery sells...look out!! We will have to try it next time we are in town.

Took a shot in the dark, as we were not overly familiar with the area & we were so glad we did! Terrific, friendly service! Delicious pizza rolls, superb salads & main courses did not disappoint! Serving sizes are shareable & finishing off our visit with a chocolate martini was the perfect choice!!! We will be back!

Great food and exceptional service! Real coconut on the coconut shrimp, homemade broccoli cheese soup and hand cut slaw made the meal outstanding. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive also. We will be returning! The remodel is sizing up nicely too, this is going to be the place to be in Brookville very soon.

Best meal from start to finish my husband and I have ever had. Caprese salad, raspberry vinaigrette was great on my salad. Porterhouse cooked and seasoned to perfection, pesto basil risotto so creamy, smashed potatoes yummy. They even gave us an extra side of broccoli for free. The bakery had a divine triple layer chocolate cake that was so large I couldn't finish it. The owner and executive chef were super friendly and so was our waitress. This place is a must go to!!!

We were looking for lunch on our way from MI to Philly and like to try non-chains, local places. We would have passed this place by, but were intrigued by the bakery in the name: Barrel 55 Bakery Bar Restaurant. We were not disappointed. Delicious food, great service, interesting menu. Highly recommend eating here, just don't judge by what it looks like on the outside. Great cheesecake from the bakery!

Very nice staff, food fresh and cool thin crispy chips...also the bakery is wonderful, took a spinach quiche home , so creamy and delicious. Just one thing, food prices are very reasonable we paid 8 each for sandwiches but 8 a piece for 2 desserts! So keep that in mind..mixed drinks are also expensive 8 for a bloody Mary ..will definitely be back though

The food was FABULOUS, there is along wait time but soooo worth it!!!!. Everyone is super nice and friendly and they seemed sincere in their interactions with us. I had the Pan seared Delmonico steak medium, which was cooked perfectly to my request, it was so juicy, and tender with just the right amount of pan-seared crust. It literally melted in my mouth. I also had their smashed potatoes they had crisp melted cheese, sour cream and chives.....this could be a dish all on its own. The spiral cut zucchini was tender and flavorful and was a compliment to the steak. To round out my meal I had a PB&J cupcake loved it!!!!

Been going here for a couple years. Best restaurant in town. Chef, cook to order meals and you can tell the difference. Owners are personable and delightful. They have an in-house bakery that is super yum too! Stop in on your way to camp or visiting the forest.

My friend and I both had salads( chicken and steak) and spinach dip . My daughter had a kids tender meal . Sooo much food! Even my daughters. She ate it for 3 meals and loved it! Everything was AMAZING!!! they've improved the building so much and inside is really nice now. Will definitely be back and highly recommend

We had the pleasure of dining at Barrel 55 last night .
Everything we ordered was outstanding ! We especially enjoyed the mussels , a creole pasta dish, and the crabmeat abd shrimp special . The service by Shannon was outstanding . However one should finish their meal with the peanut butter pie , and various pastries to go .
A great evening was had by all !

As an out-of-towner, we were welcomed like regulars and enjoyed fantastic food (awesome burgers, desserts, and more, and literally the best salad I ever had). It's an easy and convenient location, a minute or two from I-80. It's good to call ahead for a reservation during covid life.

Thanks Morgan! Great server without being overbearing. Attentive and polite. CLEAN restrooms and dining area. Pricey for a hamburger BUT you get a hand pressed burger and more homestyle fries than needed. Good food great service.

Thank you for the venue for our high school class get together. Good food, a nicely varied menu, excellent service - some of us did full meals, others just drinks - you were very welcoming. Convenient to I-80 for those traveling from out of town.

Fantastic food and service! From start to finish it was homemade and memorable. Looking forward to a return visit! It is worth the drive and may be one of the best dinning options in the tri-County area. Stop what you are doing and eat at Barrel 55z
