Their towels are clean & smell like the detergent! this is all around a place for that home away from home. owners are overall the friendlier faces on the 9nine.Pay your balance on time you'll be okay with them! It's a urban cultured kind of place very diverse. Not entirely modernized yet but in the process. You get what you pay for here no over priced surprises. It has potential; hopefully it expands adding more rooms. The maintenance staff are very prompt. Extremely helpful. If you seen this place before then you can see it's coming together nicely! Thanks again for all your hospitality

Best place to shop for your everyday wants and needs. They have a pharmacist that dispenses Meds without a prescription..(they only accept cash) Store fronts change periodically and they also have traveling masseuses, the massages are great! They offer full service massages, lip service, and party massages. They really make you feel relaxed, the ending is always HAPPY! But don't stay too long, it can get pricey... Sad to say.... They don't have wifi

I live here currently at the motel because they have been very pleasant to us so far. They don't bother us, allow our big dog and very quick to get whatever we need when we ask them. Started at many motels in Modesto lately and so far this one has been the only one on point;!

California Inn has all of the nice touches that an experienced traveller expects. The experience starts in the parking lot. They have one. There are women out there who seem like probably nice people, but it is kind of hard to tell because they are coming and going from a very dark street. The rooms are decorated in the Mulholland Drive style... not so much the famous drive in Los Angeles, but more like the David Lynch movie that took its name from the famous drive in Los Angeles. The tile floors are a nice touch, easier to clean, less staining. Even the picture on the wall was thoughtfully askew, maintaining the ambience. The blood spots on the comforter - which might normally bother us - added to an overall sense of despair and sadness that as visitors to the area we could could indulge in, but without truly understanding in a way that would demand we act; to try to make the world a better place. So most of you are going to be just fine, even enjoying a sense of adventure! True story, the next morning at ihop, the server told us a charming story of a squirrel that had its foot caught in a traffic light. It was screaming.

All I can say is WOW. I had a great experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff didn't bother me like others do, and they made me feel like I was at home, that's what really counts to me. The prices are fair and the environment was very peaceful to me. I will be staying here everytime I'm in town. Thank you California Inn

Shifty personality type employees one moment they'll be friendly with you and the next they'll ask you to leave. But overall they're friendly and helpful just probably get tired of dealing with shady type people trying to get over on them

Not the best place, not even top 20. But 85 flat no deposit, and I spent the night there with a smokin hot chick, and Breakfast in Bed! 😉😛
