Steamer's Grillhouse

We visited Steamer's Grill House on a rainy day. After we were seated, our server Bill greeted us with a genuine smile and engaging conversation, instantly making us feel welcome. We settled on indulging in the Clam Chowder, Grilled Scallop, and Seafood Linguini.

The Clam Chowder arrived steaming hot, tantalizing our taste buds with its rich, flavorful broth. It was a perfect start to our culinary adventure. Next, we savored the Grilled Scallop, which proved to be a true delicacy. The scallop was expertly cooked, tender and juicy with a subtle smoky flavor. But the star of the evening was undeniably the Seafood Linguini. This dish, my personal favorite, was an absolute masterpiece with an assortment of delectable seafood, perfectly cooked to achieve a harmonious blend of flavors.

Absolutely felt attentive. Highly recommend if you're in downtown Los Gatos. We loved the drinks, appetizers, and grilled fish!

Our server Charles was excellent! The food very good, I had the fish tacos 😋 One companion had the Burger and she said it was very good. The other companion had the Greek salad and she said it was great. Restaurant was clean and tables weren't too close together, a plus in my book ❤ The bathroom was clean and kept up. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it ☺

We used to go to Steamers once in a while a long time ago when we first lived in the area. Always liked the place. We stopped for lunch on a trip back to Los Gatos, and had a fantastic experience. The crab dip, and crab cakes were some of the best we have had, and the service was excellent Beautiful restaurant - very upscale. Nice to have table clothes for a change!

Excellent service that feels very personal, a good selection of seafood, all of which was excellent, and a reasonable selection of wines, some of which won't break the bank.

The roasted mussels appetizer is exceptional. The scallops over risotto were wonderful, the Steamers linguine was awesome, and so was the pasta special.

We will go back.

I had the Pork Chop, which was the special that day. It's not something I would usually order, but I enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend it.

We dined around 7:30 PM on a Friday night.
Snap.. Service was extremely prompt.
We only waited 5-10 minutes. We sat at a table in the Bar area.
The Steamers were excellent!
Cocktails excellent!
The Short Ribs were excellent!
When in Los Gatos...go to Steamer's.

Dining in an inviting environment where proper preparation of your meal is paramount. Homemade pasta. I won't comment on the menu selections as I want you take and enjoy your own experience.

Friendly staff. Lots of room. They were following the covid protocols well. They also have plenty of heaters so we were comfortable.

The food is also pretty good here. We had three salmon, steak and the short ribs. They were cooked very well.

Good drinks selection as well.

Had a perfect Christmas Eve eve happy hour with my husband. Delicious martinis and appetizers. The atmosphere was perfect.....merry and bright.

Delicious seafood! The mussels appetizer was really good. We also had the seabass and seafood linguine as the main courses . The cocktails were ok, but the food was really the highlight here.

An iconic restaurant with a diverse menu of seafood and other dishes, including buckets of steamed clams of course! The restaurants setting, staff and ambiance make for a wonderful evening.

Liked it. Excellent food, great service, and nice atmosphere. Busy parking and good for price.

We had lunch at Steamer's and thoroughly enjoyed it. I honestly don't remember what everyone ordered, but I do remember that the girls loved the Expresso martini. This is an outstanding upscale place to try. You won't be disappointed.

Service was impeccable! The food fabulous and the cocktails simply wonderful.

The house salad was light and perfect. The oysters were delicious. Had the steamers linguini…again, fabulous!

The in house home-made ice cream also special.

Good food, reasonably priced. Wine list pretty good. Linguine with Crab, Prawns and Shrooms were delicious. Calamari appetizer is terrific as well. Bread for the table is excellent. Service was great, prompt, glasses for Champagne, and two different Reds were perfect sized and served.

The food was great! Scallops and halibut with tuna tartar. The Hazy beer and champagne:) Service was also amazing!

Stopped by before dinner service had started, so there was only bar food available. The items we got off the bar menu were very good. The calamari was so fresh and crispy. The blackened ahi tuna Caesar salad was great. The tuna was cooked perfectly and flavorful. The burger was juicy and had very fresh lettuce and onions on top. The fries were all cooked perfectly and crispy.
