Top Dog Coffee Bar

Looking for a good coffee place in Morro Bay. Google search came up with excellent reviews which led us to this tiny little outlet. Don’t shy away by the outside look, order coffee and go to tasteful decor sitting area and enjoy coffee. Service was fantastic, very personable. Liked the coffee so much, Picked up coffee grounds pack for home. Highly recommend this place.

Always have delicious seasonal drinks, as well as their yummy classics. The good selections is awesome and tasty. Next time I’m going to go for their bottomless mimosas. Great spot to grab a coffee or sit down and enjoy a nice breakfast. I definitely will be back.

Fastest cappuccino service I've seen on a busy Sunday morning. Cinnamon roll is truly amazing not a cinabon knock off. Dough was bread was doughy and flavorful, Cinnamon filling was spicy and good, but not too sweet, topping completed the treat.
Definitely worth the stop!

Drinks, food, and staff were all great. Love the vibe and all the dogs. Street parking outside, and lots of seating options indoors, out front, and out back as well. We are visiting from NJ and are glad to have found a sweet local spot to try.

After Kayaking and eating at a nearby restaurant we had coffee here. The staff was very friendly, coffee was good (espresso, latte and an americano). We also had a cinnamon roll that was split and everyone enjoyed it. The patio was spacious and comfortable.

We had an excellent London fog and tasty breakfast here while in Moro Bay. The portions for the avocado toast and top dog plate (eggs, bacon, etc) were very generous and delicious. There is seating both inside and in the garden in the back. Would definitely go back.

Really cute coffee shop with a lot of variety and places to sit. Folks working there were great.

Had the mad max grilled cheese - was wonderful! Great atmosphere and friendly customer service. Came in Christmas Eve and the man behind the counter explained where the chai was sourced from which was nice. Great selection of drinks and pastries. Patio is beautiful. A Gem in Morro Bay!

Great place with fast friendly service. My favorite is the white chocolate, raspberry chai latte! Ordering online ahead of time is a great convenience and I really like the charitable focus on dogs. Mine love the store brand treats!

One of my favorite coffee shops, nice patio, good coffee / tea, they have kombucha from
Whale bird, yummy food (breakfast and lunch), decent wifi, friendly staff.

Best part is they have a mission with their brand, check it out and let the owners tell you that. But. Best of all, bring your dog!

They also have some music on the patio occasionally which is amazing!

I walk in with my family and my dog and we’re all grumpy and hungry. I need my coffee and my kids need to boost their blood sugar levels. The barista greats us with so much respect and not only that he makes us excellent lattes, but he serves my dog with complementary omelette. Who does that? What a way to start the morning! Excellent service and wonderful people!

The coffee is amazing (we got 2 of the seasonal lattes), the food is fantastic, and the service is second to none! We met one of the owners and had a great conversation while waiting for our order. We will definitely be back whenever we're in town!

Come in for food and drink, stay for the community.

Always a great spot for coffee, nibbles and meeting with friends. We enjoyed the patio for breakfast and that amazing cappuccino. Fresh berries in oatmeal to start the day.

Coffee, mimosa, tea and Lox Bagel were amazing. Staff was nice and friendly, the drinks and the food tasted amazing. My dog would also agree.

Yummy food and a casual coffee house. Bustling with the morning crowd, but still a great place to get your morning cup of joe. Lots of choices of coffee drinks with several options for milk, coconut, reg, soy, almond and hemp!
The Lox and everything bagel was a perfect option for Brunch. The breakfast sandwiches were thick and filled with the fluffiest eggs.
We even got to meet Cooper, a beautiful yellow lab on his way to becoming an assist dog. Glad I could support this coffee shop and community! We will definitely be back!

Masks on all customers, plexiglass and sanitary. Dog friendly. Food is ridiculously good and well priced. Coffeee is worth the trip, owner is super hospitable, and the shaded rear garden area is a nice little oasis with fast wifi, bowls of dog water, comfy seating areas for people doing mobile remote work on the go. Well worth the visit!

Some average ‘joe’ reviewer falsely mentioned no masks and close confined space.. fear mongering at it’s finest.. and wait.. even offering a convenient alternative kitchen to eat at literally right across the street. That’s a downright shameful and tacky business strategy.

This may be a bit of tangent.. but I do my absolute best to leave AUTHENTIC, real, honest and unbiased reviews or constructive feedback for small businesses striving to connect with the tech savvy and other well intended travelers (who have to sift through piles of bogus 5 star reviews along their journey to find a special place ...or even avoiding a terrible place along the way.)

This place really is awesome - and hopefully my review makes a positive difference in regards to that bogus reviewer with only 18 meager posts.
I’ve only been here once. Experiences may vary...But I’m confident to recommend this establishment with high enthusiasm!

Oh, and in case you don’t have a mask, they sell them fresh and sanitary for a buck!

So fun! Incredibly dog friendly. Went back two days in a row for the lavender latte 😍 we got a full breakfast there the first day & loved it!

Great people and excellent beverages. I've never eaten here but love the coffee, tea menu and smoothies. Prices are excellent. Beautiful little patio for relaxing with friends.
