Morro Shores Inn & Suites

I enjoyed my stay here quite a bit! The rooms are big and very comfortable. Location wise it's pretty good, a bit of a walk to the main part of town though FYI (there are a lot of hotels in Morro Bay and many are just a couple of blocks from the seaside). My only issue was that the cleaning staff was a bit noisy during the day, but not a big deal.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Well worth the price. Booked through Airbnb, using Klarna payment option, allowing me to break the total cost into 4 smaller payments every two weeks for six weeks. Close to all kinds of things to do.

My friends and I stayed in a suite, 2 adjoining rooms for two nights. We were very comfortable, rooms were clean, and front desk people were exceptional. I had a problem with the TV remote, they responded very quickly.
We were pleasantly surprised to find out we were only a short walk to the Morro rock and the beach. We were not in the room much, but nights were quiet and we slept very well. Rooms were very clean and the property was well maintained. Jacuzzi was out of order, but that was not an issue for us.
All in all, we would recommend staying here, it was exactly what we needed.

Great little place very close to downtown Morro Bay. Super clean with nice amenities and reasonably priced. We knew we'd be arriving at 1am and owners said to just ring the bell and they'd get up and check us in. Worked perfectly. Ground floor unit allowed us to walk our bikes into the unit for overnight storage. Pet friendly with back door leading to small enclosed patio that let us bring our dog out for fresh air, and to get a cross breeze through the unit. Park with bike path right in front of the hotel for walking the dog and going for a bike ride, which we did every day. Would definitely stay there again!

Room was nice and had a cute little balcony. We could see rock from room! It had a spacious fridge and a microwave. Walking distance to beach and next to a park. Harsha was very kind and I want to personally thank her for our great stay.

Reasonably priced for a very clean room with a comfortable bed. Friendly cleaning staff. Great place to rest as we travelled. Close to beach. Biking/Walking path to walk our fur babies. We asked if they would allow us 4 small dogs, and they did. They have a charge of $25 per dog.

My family stayed the first weekend of June and it was amazing! The room was perfect big enough for all of us. The fact that it was located so close to the beach was amazing. Very quiet place especially at night which was great.
Definitely feel like it was worth the money and stay.

This is what an inn should be! What a treasure to arrive at after a long stressful day on the road! Upon arriving, the owner was very welcoming, super friendly with a big smile offering complimentary bottled water and upgrading our room without our even requesting it! These folks have customer service down to a science. The room is wonderful and comfortable, and the amenities are top-notch for the price range! We definitely will stay here again in the future, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming and comfortable room at a great price point!

Still here, and so far it's great! It's not beach front but it's worth the stay. The staff is incredibly sweet and helpful. There is small patios that you can step onto in each room and get a view of the Rock. We are staying in one of their family suites, there is 2 separate rooms each with it's own bathroom. The "master bedroom" has a Jacuzzi tub/shower, king size bed with lots of pillows, fire place, and lots of space. The second room has 2 queen size beds and a pull out couch, it has a easy walk in shower, and lots of space. Both room contain a TV, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, small patios, and large bathroos.

We love Morro Bay and try to visit at least once a year. After years of visiting we have stayed at many of the local accommodations. This hotel is undergoing a remodeling and the rooms are both refreshingly designed and clean. We stayed in a suite with an adjourning room.

The staff was kind and responsive to our requests repairing a beeping fire detector immediately.

When we got home that night after a restful trip we realize we lost some of the kids electronics. We called the hotel and they helped mail the missing items they located in our room.

Altogether a great trip! Thank you Morro Bay for another fun family adventure.

Me and friends stayed here for Morro bay lighthouse SLOBC century bike ride.. this was a perfect place for the event, we could stroll our bikes to start at Morro bay.. beach was in walking distance.. great staff.. they are very accommodating and let us take showers after the ride for a nominal fee, as we were drove home the same day

Loved our room. We stayed in room 141. Two queen size beds and a twin bed that can serve as a couch. Very large room. Perfect for a family. Beds are super comfortable. Clean. Great lighting and close to the beach.

Stayed here last night and glad I did. Very nice couple who own or manage the property! Very accomodating and friendly. The room was nice - comfortable and clean - the property was cute, and it's a great location...close to the beautiful Morro beach, grocery store, Highway 1, etc.

Let me tell you why you should be staying here in Morro Shores the next time you're in the area: the price is great, the room is clean, the bathroom is gigantic, there's a good sized refrigerator, a microwave, free WiFi, the folks at the front desk are awesome, the bed is comfy, the AC is incredible... Did I leave anything out? Oh yeah... The water in the shower is what I like to call "lobster water"... You will NOT regret starting at Morro Shores...

PS... There's a great place to eat about 3 minutes away called the "Taco Temple". Trust me on this one...

Excellent place to stay if you're ok with being on the far side of town away from the walking area. Rooms were well kept and clean. Could be updated a little but that's not something that would lower the score in my book. Guy who checked us in was super friendly and fast.

My wife and I stayed four nights at this inn, renting a suite. Initially I expected to have a fair amount of freeway noise: closed the door and you would think you were in a deserted area of the planet. GREAT!! The rooms were comfortably arranged and pleasant to sit and relax.

There are many restaurants nearby with great seafood and wineries within short distances. A wonderful place to revisit in the future!

My room was super clean and all the staff was friendly and nice. Very spacious bathroom that’s a big deal breaker for me. I ended up stay a extra night. Will be back for sure.

We arrived Friday afternoon stayed till Sunday morning, The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable management was great, they have a sitting area with a fire pit and located close to everything we needed. We were very happy with our stay we will definitely be back!

Room was large and since we checked in late at 1am we could check-in by calling the attendend by pressing a call button outside. The beds were very clean, fresh and so was the bathrooms. Nothing premium about the place but at the price give this the best you could get. The place looks to be popular with tourists and scenic. They also have a swimming pool and a small restaurant.

A really great cheap hotel. It was very clean, had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. HD TV with cable to pass a little time. Free wifi and parking. Staff was very friendly. Our room had a balcony not sure if they all do but it was a nice addition. Would definitely recommend.
