I had a house burger and a asada taco and was like wow! Very good food! High quality meat and great fries. Very fresh everything including vegetables. I will be back soon! Thank you for making great fresh food for a very reasonable price. 5 ⭐

This is my favorite taco shop in this area. The ceviche. Guys, the ceviche. It is the perfect combination of bright citrus and fresh onion and great seafood. It comes with a generous amount of chips and their salsas are phenomenal (they only have spicy ones but I highly recommend both the orange and the green). The butter beef tacos are also fantastic. So go try it. It is very very worth it.

The chorizo fries were so good! Also loved the butter beef tacos and chips and guacamole.

Love Papi's. Never disappoints. The favorite in our house is the 3 butter beef tacos for $7.50. The tortilla seems homemade, with a regular sized yellow corn tortilla. The beef is melt in your mouth yummy,, topped with tiny red onions and some cilantro. Today, we tried a shrimp taco and it was good. The shrimp wasn't real seasoned but it came with a nice creamy sauce and black beans. We added some of their awesome salsa and it was tasty. The parking is easy. Not a ton of places but there is plenty of very close street parking. If you are handicapped, I feel you should be able to gain access just fine from the street and parking lot. However, you'll need to open the door, it's manual. There is a small patio with heaters and a small inside area to eat. You can call ahead for your food, which a lot of people do. Everyone I've taken there, LOVES the food and friendly service. A local institution since 2015. Highly recommend you check em out!

Delicious tacos! Perfect stop on in place. Butter beef tacos were the bomb. Also loved the chips and guacamole. Salsas equally fantastic.

Everything about Papi's is great. The food, staff, service was all wonderful. The tacos are good size and the ingredients seemed really fresh. I definitely recommend trying them out if you haven't been.

Stopped here for a light lunch with the family, don’t be put off by the outside, friendly, helpful, and the food was delightful. Best Mexican we’ve had in two weeks here, and sensible size portions. Might have to go back soon.

Took a return trip to Papi's with the family. OMG! The chorizo chipotle fries are absolutely the bomb, along with the butter beef tacos. Also tried the potato tacos & veggie tamale, both featuring their creamy chipotle sauce. My mother-in-law says the butter beef tacos are the best tacos she's ever had! May even take another trip there before leaving Pismo.

Great quality steak taco, so tender. I usually stick to chicken but I will definitely go here for their carne asada tacos because they're tender Juicy and Delicious. I also love the freshly made yellow corn tortillas. That day, I was craving a veggie taco which was also very delicious. The food was pwrfectly seasoned, not salty, for I prefer salting my food to my taste, so that was a big plus too. I definitely look forward to going back and tasting more things on the menu.

Fresh, fresh, fresh! Homemade tortillas, homemade aguafresca, and everything is super delicious!
I’m a vegetarian so I can only speak to the veggie taco - which was amaaaazing. I’d love if their potato taco came with a veggie option, but no matter, the veggie one is worth a stop!
My meat eating friends loved the carne asada and chorizo.

Loved loved loved the tacos! Amazing homemade tortillas. they tortillas and the tacos as a whole were completely mouth watering but still felt lighter and healthier. Good Agua Frescas, kids ate their food. Good all around, not directly in the downtown busy touristy area so service was busy but still quick!

I tend to not like Mexican restaurants, usually have better at home.

Pozole had just the right amount of seasoning, not too much oregano and bay leaves.

The pineapple passion fruit agua fresca was bright in flavor and not too sweet.

Birria was not too salty.

Will be coming back.

Finally was able to taste this delicious food my friend Blanca, has been talking about bomb bomb! delicious tacos that ceviche mixto yum !

We found this place by mistake and it’s our first time here !The burgers here are amazing the lettuce is really fresh and the buns are nice and toasted while also being really light ! 10/10 would recommend the bacon burgers. Would definitely go here again.

3 words. Butter beef tacos. But here are some more words. The potato taco was amazing. Agua frescas were delicious. 1 of my top 3 favorite Mexican food joints. Tied for first even. It was out first time in Pismo. No regrets.

Stopped in for lunch. First time visiting. Good selection of items. We figured we probably picked a good lunch spot, as we noticed locals on their lunch break here. We chose the fish tacos and the chicken torta. Took a seat on the patio. Great little place. Obviously has been around for a while, but I enjoyed the setting. Our number was called and I picked up our food. It looked really good and there were french fries with the torta. We dug right in. The torta was one of the best I have ever had. The fries were great. The fish tacos had a very good flavor to them, as well. All around a fantastic meal for a reasonable price.

This is a dive street taco style place. If you're expecting a traditional restaurant you won't be happy. Great tacos. Taco tues.yah

We got a shrimp, fish, and veggie taco. The handmade tortillas were amazing, and they had great sauces and salsas. The fish and shrimp taco were incredible, the veggie one was a tad bland, just veggies. I also got pineapple agua fresca, that had free refills! All in all, a really good meal, recommend at least 2 or 3 individual tacos to fill your stomach.

Non-eye-catching, hole in the wall, would have driven right by. Excellent tacos. I had one halibut, one fish. Yummy. Filling.
