Morro Crest Inn

A nice stay. Perfectly located to the main downtown area and restaurants. The room was comfortable and quiet. Bed is very comfy. We enjoyed it and would come back.

I loved this hotel. Great location, great deal, and they are so friendly. I would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely time at Morro Crest Inn. Check in/check out was easy. There was parking on site. The room was clean and had everything we needed. And the bay and many restaurants are only a short 5 minute walk away. Would definitely stay again.

Really enjoying our stay. Cute rooms and very clean. Our room was quite comfortable and updated. It's pretty easy to see off of Main St, so you shouldn't miss it. It was Abit more than we wanted to pay, but with how tidy and pleasant it all has been, we don't really mind. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location - easy walking distance to the Embarcadero! Room is clean; refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave in room; manager is very friendly & helpful; shower is small; towels very thin. Overall our room is good and we would stay here again.

I'd say it was perfect, really. My husband and I went for an overnight relaxing getaway before we have our baby. It's an updated version of a motel you'd get for the same price (actually this was probably cheaper). It was very clean. Lovely bathroom tiling and shower with a modern appearance. Lovely modern furniture. The thing that I like was that everything was modern and very nice, but there were enough unique things that made it quite different from the rest and homey. The walk in closet was a plus as well. The old wall heater was a nice touch, and I actually liked it better than the usual motel heaters. The blanket on the bed was amazing too, oddly. Usually motels have those thick certain textured comforters. This one had like a light quilt on top.
Oh, and before booking through a website, call the hotel for that price instead. They should get all the profit in my opinion... the website you book from will get a percentage if you go through them instead :/

The next morning we woke up and went to Kitty's Kitchen for clam chowder. I highly recommend that place for breakfast!

Clean! Comfy bedding! Great location! No A/C but cools off enough in the evening. Fan provided. (Not working but immediately replaced). Advised to put fan in window for good circulation but there was no extension cord to do so. Good value. I'd go back. (:

Lovely hotel! Stayed here one night and it was very pleasant. The hotel is a minute away from all the local shops and restaurants. Great view of Morro Rock. The location of the hotel was the best because it was safe and quiet. The hotel itself was nice and clean, the rooms were well kept and the receptionist was so kind. Overall, great experience.

If I ever go back to Morro Bay, I'll be spending my time and money at this little Inn. The beds are comfortable, the walls aren't thin, and you have absolutely everything you need inside: T.V., refrigerator, coffee pot, and plenty of towels and soap. It's not the roomiest but it's certainly cute inside with cozy decorations, soft sheets, close parking, and extremely friendly staff as well as comfortable walking distance to little shops. Only issue I have is the check in time is 4PM but that doesn't even deserve a mark down for how pleased I was with everything else. I HIGHLY recommended staying here.

Just heading back from a long trip down the coast from Oregon home to LA, This place was wonderful! Everyone was accommodating and friendly, the room was very clean and tastefully decorated( this was not a common experience on our trip, especially at this price). A block from downtown, and a couple more blocks to the water (visible from outside our room). Thanks! We really enjoyed.

Clean and beautiful! Its our first time staying here and definitely will again in the future. Its just walking distance to Embarcadero and there plenty of shops and restaurants on Main to keep busy! Only draw back, if you're tall like my husband, you'll have to squat to shower...if you're short its perfect!

My boyfriend and i just recently stayed here about a week ago and i was honestly a little worried about staying there because of all the negative reviews. But since we were on a budget we decided to go anyways and to our surprise the place was quite pleasent. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and what looked to be newly remodeled. The service lady was understanding and accepting of us, we had no problems with the staff what so ever. Quality and a great price, i will definitely be coming back to the Morro Crest Inn anytime im in Morro Bay.

Super friendly stuff, easy check in and check out. Room was clean and well equipped for moderately priced hotel room.

Newer no frills accommodations, nicely priced. Very clean and comfortable. I can see how the absence of some amenities helped the management pass down the savings to the guests. I enjoyed the stay and look forward to a chance to return.

I've been coming to this inn for most of my life growing up other than camping at the campground. Its cute and has all that you could need. The style is great very cozy and the staff are very friendly. I loved it. Its still overall my one and only favorite spot to stay.

Exceeded my expectations. Clean, well cared for, renovated, modern, friendly staff, central location, excellent value. Even better than ratings suggested. I'm glad I picked the Crest. I was on my own but would not hesitate to return with my family.

Great place to stay. The lady that runs it is very nice. Rooms were clean. Beautiful view if you get a room facing the marina. You can hear sea lions at night.

We discovered this gem years ago and stay every time we’re in the area. Great food close by, easy 5 minute walk to downtown. Rooms are amazing! Looking forward to staying here again.

Great clean rooms, has coffee for the next morning, shampoo and conditioner with body soap, comfty beds, cable tv, wifi. You can order Dominos pizza and get it sent straight to the room. Nice view of morro rock and the smoke towers. And easy acess to downtown and to the coastal shops!

We got the last room and the front desk was super helpful in getting us set up even though we were cutting it close on timing. Great accommodations and excellent location. I would return and stay here again.
